Some info about whats coming:
MAO is dead, and I have completely overhauled the models that were left in the previous version.
My model pack will focus on adding variety to all factions in anomaly, there will be no additional outfits in this addon.
However i’ve given the resources of the outfits to another modder which is developing a new outfit rebalance/pack.
No more funny death skeletons or smoothing errors, if you encounter those i can guarantee they are vanilla *anomaly* models.
You can expect some custom icons for a few select models, and for one specific faction, there is one squad with custom audio.
I am working dilligently with some kind people to get the addon as good as possible before release!

Notice: I’ve been pretty swamped in real life and my original intent was to fill up what I saw was the lack of armor for loners. Other than setting up conversions of these armors for the HD Models addon, I will generally be updating this mod for compatibility patches. If I get back into creating new armor, I will be looking towards Duty and then Ecologists.
I am slowly introducing new armors to Anomaly based on my personal vision of the setting. For the most part, I will be sticking to vanilla assets but will be added ported content as I see fit. Anything that I feel are cool but not worthy of a full addition will probably be added as an optional replacement. A gallery can be found here.

This addon allows you to install all upgrades on weapons and armor. The addon allows you to install all upgrades from the same group. Without an addon, after installing one upgrade from one group, another upgrade becomes blocked.
The addon also includes image fixes for some weapons visible in the upgrade menu.
Attention! The addon is not compatible with other addons that use the same files. Also, the effect of full upgrades applies only to vanilla weapons and armor, but not to those added by other addons, except for those that have compatibility patches, the list of which is below.
The archive contains several folders:
«Full_upgrades_1_5_1» with the current version of the addon.
«Full_upgrades_patch_for_Exoseva_CBSE_1.2_1_5_1» with compatibility patch for EXOSEVA CBSE OUTFITS 1.2 (Install it after Full upgrades and EXOSEVA CBSE OUTFITS 1.2, with file replacement). Have you ever made use of the many weapons in Anomaly such as the AK-74, the AK-47, the AK-101, or the many other exciting varieties of the AK? Ever wanted to take their stats to the next level, but can only do so much thanks to mutually exclusive upgrade choices? Or maybe your favorite SEVA suit needs just a little bit more of an edge against the hostile Zone?
Well, with this addon I’ve removed most* mutually exclusive upgrade choices from all the outfits and weapons in the game. Now you can make better use of your favorite AK weapons, or some of the other guns if you want to, I guess.
But really, you can now upgrade your guns and clothes to full. Some upgrades were kept exclusive in cases where it made sense, such as choosing between contrast and night-vision scopes, since one would overwrite the other anyway.
New game is not required, but heavily recommended. Game saves will crash if you’ve already locked out upgrades.

Edit: New version available. Removed redundant files, fixed some weapon files, and split the mod into two modules.
Currently there is still a bug where the third column of upgrades is cut off from the workbench menu, and I’ve hit a roadblock trying to figure out how to fix it. Mechanics can still install upgrades just fine for a fee. If anyone has a fix, let me know and I’ll include it in the mod.

How did you get so much money. Is there a special addon? I thought that stalker was supposed to be a survival shooter. Do you really need that much money?
Used the debug menu to give money to make sure the various weapons and outfits were working.
Otherwise it would’ve been a very long process to test everything.

You can get that much in vanilla in like 1-2 hours just from artifact hunting.
I realized Professor Sakharov buys his own **** for like 30% more of the original price so I got 11 millions from him
Pretty sure you mixed up sell and buy multipliers in your ‘Extra options’ menu and ruined the game for yourself lol.
I’m assuming this is incompatible with Precision Sight Fixes +OGSE Recoil? I’m not going to ask for a compatibility patch because I know how much work goes into a project like this, but I may keep this addon on the backburner if I decide to change around my addons. Very cool concept!
I took a look. Yeah, it does look like you’d have to manually merge the changes.
That said, that mod does not touch the changes I made to outfits, so you could install that part of the addon with no issues.

nothing at all, i had just started a new game when it crashed. it crashes at the loading screen. i tried to load one of my saves, same thing happened again.
also tried to delete the other addons (i had only TradeOverhaul), still didn’t work ;(
What faction/starting equipment did you pick? I haven’t been able to replicate your problem.
well,that’s the thing: it crashes with every possible choice. even if i try to randomize, the same problem still hits.

I think you have to modify the weapon file w_beretta.ltx, whose camo variant preinstalls the up_thirdd_beretta upgrade, you removed.
Line 238:

I fixed one crash I (presumably) had because of this by changing d to e:
installed_upgrades = up_fiftha_beretta, up_thirda_beretta, up_thirde_beretta
Most other new/modern/custom/camo weapon variants which have preinstalled weapon upgrades, use only the up_. a_. upgrades which I think you did not change. But you might want to recheck this yourself.
There are also some basic suit variants with preinstalled upgrades.
You also might want to remove some files from your mod, you did not change.
E.g. \weapons\upgrades\empty_upgrade.ltx, upgrade_presets.ltx, w_binoc_up.ltx
and \outfits\upgrades\up_helm_resp_1.ltx, upgrade_includes.ltx, upgrade_presets.ltx
New version uploaded. I’ve separated the mod into a weapons module and an outfit module, for those that want to pick and choose. In addition, I’ve removed most unedited files, as they just took up space. Lastly, I’ve made changes to the Beretta and Kiparis weapon files. Camo Berettas should no longer crash the game, and the Kiparis should now be spawnable from the debug menu (it wasn’t before) should you want to test out its upgrades.
I really like the idea of the mod. Thank you for creating it, comrade. Sadly the game crashes while the game is loading. I tried each of the addons separately, but it crashes anyway. I would be happy if you, could help me out, brother.

Did you already have any upgraded weapons or outfits on you when you installed? In other words, on the mechanic’s upgrade menu, are any of the upgrades red?
If so, you have to destroy those items, otherwise the game crashes.

Thank you so much for this mod! Now my play through where I obsessively collect armor and weapons and upgrade the **** out of them feels more complete! I am not using any other mods along side this with the current version of Anomaly, but since I am playing under Linux, I can’t say for sure if every weapon and suit of armor is upgrading correctly, as the game does crash every once in awhile under WINE with Linux.
BTW using this mod with the work bench to upgrade your own stuff doesn’t show the full upgrade tree, otherwise just paying a npc like Forester to upgrade your stuff works fine.
There seems to be a crash with the ‘Desert Eagle «Steppe Eagle»‘ you can buy from Nimble.
wpn_desert_eagle_nimble is defined in the weapon file w_desert_eagle.ltx
But the bug is in the upgrade file w_desert_eagle_nimble_up.ltx, which uses some parts of w_desert_eagle_up.ltx.
This might be the case for other nimble weapons, with such special upgrade paths, but I did not test that.
I played around in w_desert_eagle_nimble_up.ltx, and changing in the first section:

Heya! I’m not sure exactly what’s going on with it, but the CZ-75 Auto crashes my game whenever I try to have the Bandit Technician install the mod «Moving Bolt Section.» I’m not sure if it happens at vices or with other technicians, since I really only just found the issue. It seems like it happens with some other mods too. I’m not great at the whole modding thing, but I can tell when something’s doing what it isn’t supposed to.
This seems to be a similar problem as I wrote above for the Desert Eagle «Steppe Eagle».
To fix it, open:
\gamedata\config\items\weapons\upgrades\w_cz75_auto_up.ltx
with an text editor and change the first line from
[up_sect_firste_cz75_auto]
into
[up_sect_firstg_cz75_auto]
And here is me realizing I’ve HAD an account for ages but forgot about it. Sorry for being so bad with this, MDB isn’t one of my frequented sites. Anyways, I’m gonna try that fix you suggested, I’ll be back soon enough.
Okay, so I actually got it to work! However, I think there’s a few other guns and outfits that have this issue for me, so I’ll have to look around. I take it that the easiest way to fix them is to just try changing some letters around? I assume there’s more of a pattern to it than just «some letters,» but I’ll find it out as I go.
Why are you calling Xendrasch, an over 200 year old Dwarf mercenary with a very big grey Beard, wearing full plate armor and a big Warhammer, a chick? At least that’s the first RPG character I named Xendrasch. 😉
Randomly changing letters will do you no good. There is indeed a pattern, you need to understand and search for potential bugs.
Game crashes instantly whenever I hover over the last 2 upgrade for MK 14 EBR.

Been busy but I’ve rushed out a quick fix. Should solve crashes associated with the CZ-75 Auto, Nimble’s special Desert Eagle, and the MK14 (and all rifles that use the LR300_alt upgrade path).
I’ve seen reports of exoskeleton crashes. Can anyone tell me what exoskeletons they were upgrading, and what slot caused the game to crash?
Checked all the helmets, light, medium and heavy suits. None had problems upgrading at technician. Thanks for the quick fix!

The game crashes when I try to upgrade GSH-18.
To be exact it kicks me out in two cases.
1. After I click on Yes for the flatness upgrade, which is located in middle, the second one from the top. Error from the logs: Can’t open section ‘up_sect_firstg_gsh18’.
2. Right after I navigate to the third upper upgrade. Error message is the same

Crashes relating to sound files should not be caused by my mod. I didn’t touch anything relating to sound.
New update. Fixed crashes associated with the GSH and the Auto-Glock.
I’ve found a way to fix the workbench bug, but that would require a rewrite of the entire script, so I wouldn’t expect to see that fixed for a bit.
The burst upgrade on the GSH-18 is causing the game to crash. That’s the only problem i’ve found. Love the mod by the way. I hate to choose what to upgrade.
