I don’t understand what the Boring Yam thing was or why exactly its not happening anymore but it appears the next stage is NOT GOOD.. maybe its best wait till they get this worked out.. There is NO excuse for crashing my pc the second someone joins me in multi.. what in the world is that?

I am unwilling to attempt connecting to multiplayer again.. and I’m not sure if anyone could talk me into it at this point.. Locking a pc up like that is not a matter you should continue to test..

I found a fix for the «Boring Yam» error and all I did was to delete the BattlEye folder located in (mine is located) in D:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Watch Dogs Legion\bin yours could be in C: then all you have to do is a quick file check from the Ubisoft launcher select Watch dogs legion and under PLAY go to Properties/Local Files/Verify Files so that you can get the battlEye back also you should always start the launcher whit, admin rights I hope this helps everyone sorry for my English it’s not my first language

Well I tried it Notyp3rs’ way and still the same issue, after one minute of playing the game disconnects me from the server with the Boring-Yam error.
Have you checked if you have any game launch arguments in the properties of the game under PLAY icon it should be blank

Done that a month ago. I know its an error code for being banned, but I’ve never used any cheats, and one of your colleagues also checked it during a live chat and he/she said the same, that there is no record of me being accused of cheating or being banned. Went through pretty much back then but you can also read the previous 2 pages, cause we’ve been talking about this since then and i already described the steps that i tried.
Are development engineers really aware of this anomalous problem?

In addition to this thread, there are many other threads of complaints with the same error content from a few months ago to the present.
It has not been resolved yet.
You will be returned to the title screen in a few seconds. You can’t play the game properly with this.

Have you tried any troubleshooting for this issue? If so, what have you attempted?
d3d11.dll nvapi64.dll these files are blocked by an anti-cheat in WATCH DOGS 2 AND LEGION, but this is not a cheat, this is a fix in order to play in 3d vision. Please make an exception for these files. In 3d vision, the game looks amazing.

Could you confirm if this occurs every time you launch online?
If so, could you please ensure you’re running Watch Dogs Legion, the Ubisoft Connect client and Battleye with admin rights?
Happened to me as well.
For me, logging out from the Ubisoft Connect application (Ubisoft launcher), then logging back in, solved the issue.

In the meantime, can you let me know if Watch Dogs Legion, Ubisoft Connect and BattlEye are being run in administrator mode? This can alleviate the issue as well.

Boring-Yam Error Code
My main problem is that i bought the game couple weeks earlier and i have been playing the campaign since, but now i tried to join multiplayer and after 1 minute it always disconnects me and says Error code: Boring-Yam.
Couldn’t find any solution on my own 
Anybody has an idea how to fix it?

Waiting from an official ubisoft response / help.
Well I had a round with Ubisoft support.
They said that it was an error code during beta for people banned by battleye, but they looked up my profile and didn’t find any ban notice and i didn’t even play the games’ multiplayer yet so there is no history of me being banned. They told me to run a game file check and then try reinstalling.
Doing it now, hopefully it’ll work out.
I’ve got the same problem. I’ve been playing the Online mode since it was released and never ran into this.
Well reinstalling didn’t help so I guess we’ll have to wait for dev support

I get the same error, spoke to ubisoft on wen chat and they are blaming my broadband provider but that has nothing to do with them.
Well they forwarded my problem to the dev team
Hopefully we’ll see an update patching this soon

-disabling the avast antivirus
-verifying files
-reinstalling BattlEye
-restarting Uplay connect

Anybody else getting this error code: «No Longer Connected To Ubisoft Servers Error Code: BORING-SUNDAE». There is no listing on the Ubisoft Support site
I have gotten this too and i cant find any info about it. it completely crashes my computer, its happened at 3 points in the main story. i have to switch off my computer at the power supply and reset through BIOS. not sure if im happy paying AAA prices on a game that cant keep up.
I just had this issue happen to me last night and a few minutes later my computer froze and I also had to do a hard shutdown of my computer, Has this ever happened with any other ubisoft games in the past?
