Yep very sad, esp considering KOTH\LIfe is the only gamemode that use «unlocks», unlocks almost always attracts the idiots from COD\BF, and they bring their feel good cheats, just avoid those gamemodes,more mature players need to look beyond the s**t the kids play.

It’s a shame, I love KOTH and Wasteland. I’ve had the game literally weeks and already come across one dude that shot grenades out of his pistol (i dont remember cheats like the for previous arma titles. He could also Bring himself back from the state of needing revived (not dead but downed).

In my eyes hackers are just angry nerds that can’t win games so need to pay for/find cheats to have any form of success. It’s comical.

That one hacker I came across with my friends, we just kept running him over in a tank and parking it on his body since he couldn’t do anything (no speedhack and his grenade crap obviously didn’t harm the tank) and then he couldn’t revive himself and stand up wit the tank ontop of himself.

Despite having a massive noob advantage with all those cheats, he rage quit. It made my day!

Yes some cheats on google means the entire community is cheating. Hell, in Koth if you are racist or ram a chopper you will be banned in less than 30 seconds. I see it every day. 250 hours and only one hacker came and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up a koth game.

All I play is Koth and the only problem is its populatiry and full servers.

Its exactly like spawning money in altis life, but some people are not capable of trying just begging.

Step 1: Find your values with cheat engine as a float
step 2: change the values to what ever you want.
Step 3 profit.

King of the the hill does need you to cause a value update after changing it, simply by buying something or as showing in the video, earn any ammout of xp to level up.

My way of doing that is by editing save files. I’m skipping minor details not to encourage noobs to do silly things.

1. Enter a server, then leave as soon as the mission has been loaded
2. DePBO the mission file, find the code responsible for loading the profile. Hint: profileNamespace
3. The save file consists of three parts: version, data and hash. Once you find the code that does the profile loading:

Thankfully everything is clientside (yeah, great design decisions BIS)
The function is not included in the PBO, but instead loaded by the server. There are two methods of finding that:

Short method:
1. Open any CE. You can do that because BE is unloaded when you leave the lobby.
2. Find m-5EbEyr7go or [97,122],[65,90],[48,57]
3. Grab the whole code of the hash function.
4. Get your save variable, modify the data part as you’d like.
5. Fix the code (replace references to variables you don’t have) and run this shit in the debug console in the editor.
6. Profit

Reliable method, in case more obfuscation has been added:
1. Find kgbjjy string not being the part of the script code (i.e. a word on its own, use ctrl+B to verify that)
2. Subtract 8 of that address to get a Arma string pointers (strings in Arma have a header)
3. Find a pointer to that address. You will find a part of an array that the scripting engine uses to store variables.
4. Look around the address from step 3 to find another pointer to Arma string storing the function code (i.e. variable value).
5. If not successful, go back to step 1 and try another string.
6. Convert the crap code to your favourite scripting language and make an offline savefile generator.
7. Profit

Here’s the legend for every value in the save:
[level, exp, next_level_required_exp, perk_count, perks, cash, owned_weapons, owned_scopes, owned_launchers, owned_handguns, total_exp, money_earned, playtime, bought_weapon, bought_scope, bought_launcher, bought_handgun, skin_selected]

Remember to call saveProfileNamespace when you’re done editing.

I try to make my saves look legit, for instance I make total_exp value consistent with the level, amount of exp, money and playtime I have. I think the author might introduce more checks to counter hacking money/exp with CE, same as some Altis life modders did.
I’ll try to provide some screenshots later, stay tuned.

Place the contents of the server PBO inside of a folder named server_k in the mission folder
i.e. Documents/Arma 3/mpmissions/ /server_k/

Repairing/Reconstruction De-obfuscated PBO’s:
— Learn the features of a mission file (non-obfuscated/source) (https://github.com/AsYetUntitled/Fra. tis_Life.Altis)
— init.sqf needs to exist. etc. etc
— Replace broken includes
— Correct file names (init.sqf needs to called init.sqf not 7init.sqf)
— Go work it out, sorry. I cannot explain thoroughly explain in a forum post (sorry, nor do I have the time to explain it through voice chat)

All of this shit is likely going to change in the next update. Sa-Matra’s team browse these forums (confirmed)
