Roblox Ready Player Two event starts on December 1st

Roblox and Ready Player Two have officially announced their even that will be taking place in Roblox! You will be able to jump in the Ready Player Two Hub and play 7 different games, complete 7 quests, and collect 7 different relics. You will need to follow the clues to find the treasures and complete the quests. If you want to get ahead of the game, you can purchase the Ready Player Two novel on November 24th, which should hopefully give you some context on the games that will be in Roblox.

As mentioned in the title, this does not start until December 1st, 2020 at 10am PST (search Google for 10am PST in your time). Here’s the official description from the hub on Roblox:

Roblox and Ready Player Two author are calling Gunters back into action for an epic treasure hunt that spans seven games and awards thousands of winners with cool prizes. Do you have what it takes to crack the clues and become one of the grand prize winners? There’s only one way to find out.

If you’re a big fan of the book or movie, you can jump into the hub on December 1st to check out an exclusive Q&A between Ernest Cline the author of the book, and Builderman from Roblox! If you watch this interview, it sounds like they might unveil some clues that should help you solve some of the quests you need to complete.

There are currently three badges that you can earn in the game, and each one is associated with an item in the avatar catalogue. This likely means you’ll be able to earn each of the items by obtaining the badges. Here are the badges that are available with their descriptions:

A Note About VIP Servers

For several of the Ready Player Two quests it’s recommended to use your own private server. This is because you’ll have more control over various aspects that are important for performing the quests successfully.

Unfortunately not all of the games offer free VIP server accounts so take that into consideration. It’s not impossible to complete the quests without a VIP server, but in some cases it can be much more difficult.

In case you’re not familiar with private servers, here’s how to create one:

Below is a list of the games for which a VIP server is recommended. Again, it is completely possible to complete the quests without a VIP server, however in some of these games it may be more difficult to do so.

Crown of Madness Relic in Piggy

From the Ready Player Two Event Hub, the door on the far left will take you into the Piggy game. By completing my instructions below, not only will you get the First Relic (Crown of Madness), which you’ll need in order to earn The META Shades, but you’ll also get the Robes of Madness and the Pants of Madness.

How to Program BASIC Relic in Bee Swarm Simulator

Before you can start the real quest there are several preliminary things you need to do after entering Bee Swarm Simulator.

Актера спутал) в сериале Мгновения грядущего снимался Стивен Уильямс, а в Far Cry роль главного антогониста исполнил Джанкарло Эспозито) но если Дима умудряется назвать бутылек от коньячка бутыльком от компота, то чернокожие актеры, видимо, для него все на одно лицо))

Ready Player Two Event

Description

The Ready Player Two Event is an event related to Ready Player Two. By using the code «Unicorn», players can receive a pair of VR Goggles used to augment their vision by allowing them to detect code fragments to open a «door.» The event mission still is functional.

Each map has eight code fragments resembling parts of a unicorn. Four are real, but another four are decoys that are adjusted in the wrong direction. Players must receive portions of the code by moving close to the fragments and scanning them with the goggles to save them into the HUD. Rocket Facility is a good map to search for the code in due to its simple textures and contrasting colors compared to the code fragments.

Using the correct code fragments, players must find a door that is shaped like a jukebox located somewhere in the map and insert the correct combination. It will then show a bar displaying «uploading,» and if the pieces are correct, the player will be teleported to a game called «Operation Unicorn». It may take a few seconds or minutes for the puzzle to «upload» and for you to be teleported.

Fragments can be located in these maps:

Operation Unicorn

In this mission, you must fend off waves of zombies while advancing through the map using preset equipment. You have ten lives, and dying resets you back to the nearest checkpoint. If you lose all your lives, you will be forced to restart the mission. During the operation, your health will regenerate very slowly, so you should use your INSTA-Heal regularly.

The mission takes place in a vaguely Vietnam setting after a helicopter crash. You must advance through multiple set pieces, including a Plantation, a Mansion, a River, and finally a Small Town before reaching the end. As you move from area to area, small snippets of dialogue will appear to make observations.

The air is thick with mist. You don’t know where you are.

You awaken to find a helicopter and the pieces that once made it fly to be twisted and damaged. The smell of gasoline torments you. You must move forward. You must get to safety.

Something strange is happening to the undead. it looks like they are glitching!

The mansion seems as dangerous a place as any, you must keep moving. Follow the river outside the mansion and go to the nearby town. We must find out what’s going on!

You’re almost to the town! Keep pushing forward!

It looks like a ghost town here. Everyone seems to have left by now. I wonder what happened here.

The town seems to fade off into this. white void.

Loadout

At each area, multiple waves of zombies will rise from the earth to attack you. After defeated all the zombie waves, you are then able to advance to the next area, where you will fight more zombies. As you get further through the level, the zombies will become increasingly «glitchy» in appearance, though this has no effect on gameplay.

There are a few variants amongst the zombies, with the «Runners» and «Crawlers» differentiating themselves from the standard zombie with different stats.

By making it past all the zombies, you will reach the end, which is comprised of a white void with a mysterious teapot at the end. Upon completing the mission, you will receive the «CEO» badge and will be sent back to a standard Bad Business server. The 1x1x1x1 Teapot and accompanying shirt and pants will be added to your Roblox inventory.

Note: You will be able to do the Ready Player 2 event till sometime at the end of the year. The event has not actually ended yet. It and all the other Ready Player 2 event areas in other games will be inaccessible at some time at the end of the year.
