Rising World: Console Commands (Cheat Codes)
This guide contains a list of all console commands for Rising World (as of 0.9.5.5). In order to enter a console command, you have to open the ingame console by pressing the
key, ` key or ^ key on your keyboard (depending on your keyboard layout).
General Commands
settime
Changes current ingame time
Example: settime 12
Synonyms: tod
setdate
Changes current ingame date
setweather [instant 0/1]
Changes current ingame weather (types: clear, default, overcast, rain, heavyrain, rainthunder, heavyrainthunder, storm, fog, densefog)

Sets default spawn position (every new player spawns at this position)

Spawn Commands

Gives an object (e.g. furniture) to yourself

Teleportation Commands
Teleports another player to your position

NPC Commands

Locks the NPC youβre currently looking at

Unlocks the NPC youβre currently looking at

Enables/disables invincibility for the NPC youβre currently looking at

Gives an item (tools or weapons) to an NPC (the NPC youβre currently looking at). Only works for humans and skeletons

Opens dialog which allows you to edit the NPC youβre currently looking at. Optionally you can provide the npc global id

getnpchere [id]
Teleports an NPC to your position. Either look at the NPC or provide the global id

Gets some debug information about the NPC youβre currently looking at
disablenpc
Permanently disables an NPC for this world. This also deletes already spawned NPCs

enablenpc
Re-enables an NPC for this world which has been disabled before.
Example: enablenpc bear
deleteallnpcs [npctype] [radius]
Deletes all NPCs in your world. Optionally you can restrict this command to a specific NPC type only. If you just want to disable all NPCs, type βdeleteallnpcs CONFIRMβ

Flips/mirrors an image (poster) in the world (no parameter flips horizontally, parameter βyβ flips vertically)

Edits a construction element in the world (i.e. planks, beams etc). Actions: texture, resize, setsize, rotate, setrotation

Plugin API Commands
debugitem
Enables you to change the item position. Useful when creating custom items (plugin API). Press Return to copy the coordinates to clipboard (Shift+Return copies rotation).

Enables you to change the first-person body position. Useful when creating custom items (plugin API). Press Return to copy the coordinates to clipboard (Shift+Return copies rotation).
playsound
Plays a sound effect (Debug command)
stopsound
Stops a sound effect (Debug command)
Image / Video Commands

Creates multiple screenshots (the camera moves around and looks at the center position)

Set the center position for taking multiple screenshots
startvideocapturing [quality 0-1] [fps]
Captures a framerate-independent video (no audio)

Changes the current game mode. 0 for survival, 1 for creative

Changes the view and detail distance. Using too high values (distance > 50, detail > 21) may cause trouble

Saves the world (calling this method is usually not necessary)

Shows your current local IP (IPv4)
findbase [type]
Finds the highest concentration of man-made structures (most likely your base) in the world (prints X Y Z coordinates β use it with the βgotoβ command). Types: blocks, constructions, objects

Toggles an fps indicator in the bottom right corner of the screen

Prints the current ingame time and date

Console Commands
Opening the console:
Open the console with the tilde key (
) (just to the left of the 1 key on the qwerty keyboard).
Then type the command.
The basic command line is [item/object] [Item Name] [Quantity] [Variation]
Brackets should be omitted. Sometimes you will not use the variation ID. Variation means the ID number associated with the pattern of blocks, planks, beams, and logs.
Change time of day: tod 15 52
Change weather: weather [weather type] 1 NOTE: weather types are as follows: clear, default, overcast, rain, heavyrain, storm, fog, densefog. You put the number «1» at the end of the argument to make the weather change instantly.
Change game mode: gm [0/1] NOTE: «0» is for survival, «1» is for creative.
Teleport to coordinates: goto [x] [y] [z] NOTE: you can find your coordinates by pressing F3. They’re on the top line.

Change name and info of an npc: editnpc NOTE: Face the npc, open the console and type the command.
Make an npc invincible: setnpcinvincible 0/1 NOTE: Face the npc, open the console and type the command.
Change construction element texture: id [#] NOTE: this is done while it’s in hand.
Change degree of object rotation: setr [low / default / high / veryhigh / x] NOTE: low = 45Β°; default = 15Β°; high = 5Β°; very high = 1Β°; x = #Β°.
Change manual object placement precision: setp [low / default / high / veryhigh / x] NOTE: low = 20; default = 10; high = 5; very high = 1; x = #.
Change object rescale precision: setl [low / default / high / veryhigh / x] NOTE: low = 20; default = 10; high = 5; very high = 1; x = #.
Set object size: size [x] [y] [z] NOTE: You must be in creative mode for this to work.
Display fps: fps NOTE: it will display in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Wireframe mode: wireframe NOTE: useful to see underground caves. To exit, repeat the command.
Save a position: setmark NOTE: this will save your current coordinates. Then use the «gotomark» command to return later.
Create a spawn point: setspawn NOTE: this will set your current coordinates as the place you will return if you die. You can also use the «gotospawn» command to teleport to this position.
Find home base: findbase [type] NOTE: types include: «blocks», «constructions», «objects».
Remove a set blueprint: undoblueprint
Enable/Disable construction collision: constructioncollision
