Hill is the protagonist of Lilith’s Cord. In the beginning of the story, his consciousness is suppressed and he lives as Jang Dohyeon, an ordinary student attending university. Depending on the translator, his name can be spelled Do-hyun, Dohyeon, or Do-hyeon.

Appearance [ ]
Jang Dohyeon’s hair and eyes are black.
Hill’s eyes are bright red with cross-shaped pupils. When deprived of his power, his white hair turns black, and occasionally his eyes as well.
Personality [ ]
As Dohyeon, he is an average, quiet student. His behavior and grades are good enough for him to get a recommendation at the beginning of the story. He is quite honest, not the type to take advantage over someone or a situation, and he feels sorry if his actions upset his comrades. His female classmate Su-Ah looks down on him because of his lack of assertiveness and seemingly absence of charisma in general. However, even under pressure, Dohyeon stays a righteous and courageous man.
First manifestations of Hill show a dull lustful young man, with a childish joking side. He has been attracted to Lily since their first encounter, although it might have been because of the succubus poison from Harbin. He is self-confident and believes no one can outmatch him; therefore, he regularly acts impulsively. When things go wrong, he keeps his composure. He is very powerful and resilient.
Little by little, Dohyeon and Hill’s personalities fuse, becoming one Gary Stu in love with Lily.
Abilities [ ]
Dohyeon is able to use Hill’s power, moving at high speed and even forming effective magic barriers. Hill’s speed and strength exceed Lily’s performance. It seems that his gaze can hypnotize humans, making them strongly lascivious. At his highest level of power, Hill’s magic manifests through wings in his back, like his father. Hill once transformed them into two swords that he controlled with his will. This is known as his father’s technique: ego sword.
It is not clear how power accumulation and transfer work in the lore of Lilith’s Cord, but we know Hill has a great amount of yang ki, and that he replenishes it by making love to women. With Su-Ah, he retrieves his yang ki by drawing a symbol (two inverted Y) on her belly and grabbing it with his hand. When Harbin rapes him to steal his power, he is able to invert the flow of energy while still being tied up, simply by moving his hips when she is not concentrating. He then tears her belly open (with the symbol drawn onto it) to get his power back, so it seems the belly method is the most efficient. However, with Lily, his power comes back greater than before simply by making love with her twice.
Biography [ ]
Hill is one of the many offspring of Theon, the dark god. He was the most talented of his children. Before sending them to the other world, Theon told Hill that he would be their elder from now on. Hill promised to take his brothers and sisters to Eden (chapter 13), as he was supposed to be the «pathfinder» (chapter 14). Hill’s mother and his aunts gave their lives to allow their children to travel to the other world.
Unfortunately, after losing their mothers, the children came upon a dreadful «blue-eyed witch»: the Erz Engel/archangel. She carried a murderous scythe which she used to slaughter Hill’s brothers and sisters. Hill survived only thanks to the intervention of Lilith, who took him before teleporting through multiple planes to lose their opponent. There, Lilith prepared her reincarnation. As she was too weak, Hill had to help her with his own energy (chapter 72). Being just a child, he was not able to control the flow of energy and ended deprived of his power, his memories, and even his identity. Thus he became Dohyeon and lived as an ordinary human.
