Sorry, but there are no cheats or console commands in the game, and it makes much more sense to keep it that way.
Honestly, with how this game is still in alpha and resource respawn is almost nil (sure you can find some laying around but trees and rocks not respawning) there should be some commands in game.
Im not going to put in 200-300 hours into an alpha, I pop in and test a few things out, run around for an hour or two.
Even 7 Days to Die has commands for when you wanna just see if something is going to work to use on a live server or test if there is an exploit that needs to be addressed.
Please don’t bump old topics.
Besides that, there are no console commands. You don’t have to jump into a world with other people, if you want to see if something works then you can in your own server.
There are 67,000 trees and about just as many rocks, the chances of you running out are extremely low, and it is meant to keep pushing you inland to not get too comfortable in one spot.
The developers have mentioned looking at renewable resources, but that is currently not at the top of the list, especially with the upcoming engine upgrade.
If you’d like to suggest them, then feel free to do so in the suggestions forum, but honestly, there is no need for console commands, especially with how you can easily transfer a character from a single player world into one with other people, and so console commands would only introduce cheating.

To enjoy this game for now, i’ll have to be able to atleast tun off the hunger, its like my worst enemy in this game. Its just dropping WAAAAY too quickly to be able to actually do anything in this game without beeing on the brink of a breakdown due to stress.
Ive tried several «tweaks» to turn off the hunger or atleast tone it down, but nothing works.
And no i normally never cheat in games, but this game is pretty much asking for it.
And no i dont need to L2P, ive dealt with hunger in alot of games by now and this is by far the one with the worst system due to how fast it decreases.
Yes and thats the problem, because theres no ranged yet. We sprint after these deer,break out shoes and hunger meter drops way too fast. By the time i get enough food from deers, i have to eat it ALL, and then repeat the process of chasing down deer again.
It leaves very little time to enjoy what else this game has to offer when u might die while in the middle of creating armor or weapons.
The rst of the game is probably good, sad thing is, theres no way for me to get to experience that unless i bumrush deers for the first half of my gameplay, hoping i have enough food to craft and build other stuff.
i use the oak skull smasher to hunt its a 2 hit kill on any animal takes a little while to gather the items needed to craft the weapon but once you do the food will pile up 🙂
Yeah ive tried to get enough materials for it, but time simply isnt on my side 90% of the time. By the time i get to th point where im almost ready to make it, im in deep doodoo when it comes to food and hunger. Its not enjoyable, and no i dont want EASY mode, i just want the hunger to decline atleast. 50% slower or even more, and helath about the same.
Hunger takes ages to kill u, in this game its like its a deathsemtemce when ur stomach growls alittle. Cold im fine with, u get to the point where u cant function properly, u can die fast, totally fine with the cold.

I agree the rate at which hunger declined at the beginning was annoying but it’s not an issue now as I usually have 20-25 pieces of cooked meat on hand.

Well a full time job, i wanted to scream GO BACK TO YOUR MMORPG EASY SETTING GAME, but instead i gave thme all food and fire and ashack then lead them to Argo. the said Good luck gave some advice.
then i joined some good server with people wanting to help people, making them tools and helpnig everywhere its good times
One thing I’ve noticed is that sprinting after the deer is usually a bad idea. You can usually hit them twice before they run. If you don’t chase them, they will stop again a little ways off. Sneak up and hit them again. With a semi-decent weapon (I currently have only a stone sword) that third hit will take them down.

The food is really not that bad. I do agree that hunger needs to be adjusted. The game was meant to be a ♥♥♥♥♥ and they achieved it so bravo.
I will say one thing. find one of the villages (i’ve found 2 so far) they are hard to find so make a spawn stick there or it’s gunna suck when you die spending 2 hours trying to find the spot again or getting back and dying just as you find it finally.
Deer will be easier to kill in the next update. Ranged is in the works along with a major overhaul to the food system.
Even with some of the issues like the re-lighting fires and poor armor degradation it doesn’t deter me from extracting enjoyment from the game. Just waiting patiently for the next round of updates 🙂
