Beginners Guide

Progression system

When you first start the game, you’ll spawn on the very first island called Starter Island which is for level 0+ players. As you do quests or grind on NPCs for EXP and Beli (the system currency) you level up, until eventually you hit level 50. Once you’re at level 50, you can get on a boat or fly and head to the next island. There’s 14 islands in total, each having higher and higher levels until you eventually hit the maximum level which is 3,200.

You can use Beli to buy Devil Fruits and Swords, as well as Fighting Styles. Only use for Gems is to buy the more powerful devil fruits. For beginners, earning Beli can be slow, so don’t waste your money.

Stats

This is what the menu for the stats look like, what the numbers are is different for everybody but this is just an example of what it looks like.

Stats make or break the game, they make up your player build, determine your play style and what abilities you can use. There are 4 categories of stats that you can invest into.

Increases hp, the max hp is 40,100 HP. Highly recommended to max out the defense stat.

Increases devil fruit damage and Unlocks abilities on Devil Fruits. If you have a rare fruit or higher, I highly recommend you focus on fruit stat.

Increases sword damage and Unlocks abilities on Swords.

Increases melee damage, gives you more geppo jumps, and unlocks abilities on Fighting Styles.

These 4 stats make up your players build, and determine the damage and health, and which abilities you have access to.

While everyone stats are different, there is one thing they all share in common: you can only have 3 maxed out stats at once. The best stats anyone can have are 3 categories that hit their limit which is 4,000, and a fourth category that’s stuck at 400. You’ll gain 12,400 stat points throughout your entire journey, so adding them regardless into which category you put them in will always result in at least one of them getting the short end of the stick. The one category that is highly recommend to max out is Defense. The maximum HP a person can have is 40,100 and you need every last bit of it. You technically don’t need to max it, but it’s a very unwise decision to do so. Choose your stats wisely, otherwise you’ll be wanting a stat reset.

How to get Devil Fruits

There’s 3 methods one can obtain devil fruits with:

This is the primary and recommended method for obtaining Devil Fruits. The Black Market is located on both Bubble Island and Beginner island.

You can randomly buy Devil Fruits for 250k Beli, The chance differs between Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary. It is located on Beginner island. See Gacha for the information on location and more.

You can find them Under Trees. Although, this is not recommended because why would you waste your time finding fruits when most of the time the fruits that you are going to find are mostly common and uncommon fruits.

Devil Fruits for Beginners: Flame Fruit, Dark Fruit, Human Fruit, Ice Fruit, Gravity Fruit, and Magma Fruit are all recommended fruits for people who are new to the game. All of the fruit listed above are some of the best for grinding and Pvp, though the best fruit that is cheap for PvP is the Love fruitbecause it has good stuns and turns your enemy into stone.

Allying

This is what the Ally menu looks like, when you click on a username it’ll send a request that pops up on your screen. Just press accept when one shows up. (Note it will not show you being sent a request if you are currently in a ally with another player.)

Allying is a integral feature that is necessary for more then one player to work together. On the top left corner next to your money, click on menu and the press Allies. A menu will pop up and when you click a players name, it will send them an invite, if they accept, a neon green arrow will appear over their head which will indicate that they are allied with you. Allied players can’t hit or hurt you, which is important for working together to take down a person or boss. Anyone who is allied with you when you accept will also become your ally. If you press the red «leave ally» button on the bottom of the ally menu you will leave your ally with everyone in the server. If you leave ally, you can still send them invite and become allies again. Allies are not immune to Haoshoku Haki though, so be wary of that. Allies are also not immune to the Ope-Ope heart attack.

What to do when you obtain a Devil Fruit

— Put all stat points into Devil Fruit because you will one shot NPCs if you do.

-Auto-farming is NOT allowed and can cause you to get banned.

In King Legacy, there are three types of Haki

Haki is a very important feature and is basically required to get far in the game. Haki can buff attacks, give the user advanced sight, or stun people around them.

Haoshoku Haki

Conquerors Haki can stun people in a medium large AoE and can be obtained through a gamepass that costs 2,500 Robux or when the player joins the game for the very first time, although there is only a 0.1% chance of this happening. To activate press U, or on mobile tap Hao.

The user is surrounded by white rings that comes from the player, it also creates a blur and zoom effect.

My honest review starts here

So the best way to utilize this is against ground pvp types, like Dough or Love. These fruits are tricky to fight unless you have haki.

Conquerer haki+Pheonix is pretty much unstoppable.

Against a love user, first stun them, take out enma and get rid of their haki, then attack.

The conquerer can be used as a way to heal whilst holding off your enemy. It can also be useful for taking out haki while the opponent can literally do nothing.

Gum and Love users are extremely toxic to face against without Haki, even if you use a ‘100 spam 0 skill’ fruit like Pheonix.

But gum and love are no match for Pheonix+Conq. Once you stun them use Enma to take out haki, then kill them before they wake up.

Now if i say some cons about This thing

1. You get sweared at and insulted

You get sweared at and people call you noob and some even threaten to report you

2. You can’t hit Zoan/flying fruits

Like Dragon or Pheonix or Gas, these three, when flying/transformed. Is immune to conquerer haki. But if they un-transform, or if they accidentally stop flying(With gas or Dragon, healing is not possible while flying so they have to untransform sooner or later) you can wait for that opening, use conquerer and kill.

What is Kenbunshoku Haki?

In the anime, Kenbunshoku Haki is a type of haki that allows the user to be aware of his surroundings and predict when and where an attack is coming. In the anime, it’s one of the two types of Haki that can be learned through training. It can be bought at Sky Island for 1,500,000 Beli.

What it looks like when using Ken.

What it Does

Kenbunshoku allows you to dodge attacks. To activate it press Y or on mobile press the button that says Ken. When activated, your screen becomes tinted blue and «8 Dodges Left» appear above your head. This also enable you to see other player and NPC bodies. When someone hit you, your character dodges the attack automatically and subtract 1 dodge charge per hit. When Kenbunshoku Haki is disabled, every 10 second will recover 1 dodge charge. With that being said, it’ll dodge attacks that seem impossible just by moving left and right like the Dragon Fruit’s roar or the Quake Fruit’s wave. Kenbunshoku isn’t invincible though, as at times attacks may still get through its defense. You can open/close it every 1 second.

Busoshoku Haki

Armament is obtained through buying it for 500,000 Beli at Bubble Island. To activate it press T or on mobile tap Buso. When this ability is active, its allows you to hit players with a Logia fruit equipped. It also boost the damage of your swords and fighting styles. If you use this ability with the Dough/Mochi Fruit it allows you to do more damage with some of the moves.

Armament Haki (Busoshoku Haki) is a form of Haki that coats your arms (or legs if you have the black leg style) with a shiny coat. This form of Haki allows you to injure Logia users with your sword attacks and creates a black effect on your sword(s).

The shiny black parts on my legs is what Busoshoku with Black Leg looks like.

Busoshoku Haki will be on legs when you have darkleg style.
