Как правильно установить трейнер?
Способ установки у всех трейнеров схож и заключается в том, чтобы поместить все файлы в дистрибутив игры, в ту же папку, где находится исполняемый файл, который и отвечает за запуск игры. Иногда найти его не так уж и просто, но если у вас на рабочем столе есть иконка, с помощью которой можно запустить игру, то вы можете воспользоваться следующим способом:
1. Нажать правой кнопкой мыши на иконку;
2. В открывшемся контекстном меню выбрать опцию «Свойства»;
3. В открывшемся окне перейти на вкладку «Ярлык» и нажать на кнопку «Расположение файла».
После этого в «Проводнике» откроется папка, в которой и находится EXE-файл игры. Трейнер нужно скопировать в ту же папку, если в инструкции, приложенной к трейнеру, не сказано иначе.
После этого останется только запустить трейнер и ознакомиться с сочетаниями клавиш для активации его возможностей, а затем, не закрывая трейнер, запустить игру.

I know that it borders on heresy, but in this case the end justifies the means.

A good compilation of the GOG walkthrough with most complete maps.
This spares hours if not days of refreshing shops and re-rolling relics. Those who want to enjoy combats can make a item with desired abilities which actually appear in game like +2 (non-)magical skills, +15 all attributes or +18 (elemental) damage.
A convenient way of editing items is to find the memory address of the item you «dragged».
1. Save the game before you do anything with memory.
2. Drag an item which has a durability, then switch to Cheat Engine using Alt+Tab while you hold that item on cursor.
3. Say the item you dragged has a durability of 15/30. Scan for 15 0 0 0 30 0 0 0 (DEC), or 0F 00 00 00 1E 00 00 00(HEX) as array of bytes.
4. Switch to the game, release that item, drag another item with different durability, then switch out using Alt+Tab.
5. Perform a Next Scan. Say the second item has a durability of 60/60, so scan for 60 0 0 0 60 0 0 0 (DEC) or 3C 00 00 00 3C 00 00 00 (HEX).
6. There may be more than one address persists. You have to try them out one by one, by modifying their values. Only one address applies your change in game, while the other addresses simply revert to previous value after you release the item in game.
7. Add the correct address to address list and change it’s length to 34. Now you have the address of your dragged item that remains functional until you exit the game.
You may Browse this memory region to have a brief view of an item in memory. Say we drag Boots of Saint Baudolino. The memory browser should look like this:
3C 00 00 00 3C 00 00 00, underlined in green, is the hexadecimal value of its durability / max durability we scanned for.
The preceding four bytes stand for type of the item. In this case, FD underlined in blue means Boots of Saint Baudolino. We don’t need to change this value usually.
One byte following durability values, underlined in black, is quality of the item. We don’t need to change this either.
The next 25 bytes, underlined in red, are for magical abilities of the item which we actually want to change. Each ability is described by 1 byte for type and 4 bytes for value. In this example, C6 00 00 00 00, or 198 0 0 0 0 in decimal, stands for indestructibility which has no numerical power; and A5 0F 00 00 00, or 165 15 0 0 0 in decimal, stands for +15 all attributes. Last two instances of FF 00 00 00 00 mean fourth and fifth ability of this item doesn’t exist.
Actual values for abilities are listed in Table Extras of Shiren’s cheat table. I’ll post them at the end of this guide.
Once we have the address of dragged item, we can edit every item in the game at ease.
Suppose we have Liar’s Mirror with some crappy stats, and we want «indestructibility; +2 magical skills; +15% experience». Drag this Liar’s Mirror. switch to Cheat Engine, change the last 25 bytes at that address to 198 0 0 0 0 209 0 0 0 0 204 15 0 0 0 255 0 0 0 0 255 0 0 0 0 and we’ve done.
Make sure you saved the game before doing these. If you accidentally modified some quest item, you may be unable to advance in the game.
There’s a tip to make large amount of items like elixirs. Elixirs are potions with four components as their magical abilities, for example Elixirs of Strength have 240 5 0 0 0 241 5 0 0 0 242 5 0 0 0 243 5 0 0 0 255 0 0 0 0. Drag a potion and switch to Cheat Engine, change the value to make an elixir, then lock it. Now every potion you dragged will become an elixir on release, and don’t forget to unlock when you finished.
In Inquisitor there are many types of negative status that is more annoying than enough.
Whenever you’re fed up with some debuff such as a Slow of 120 seconds, you may use console command \givenewitem kamenmudrcu to give yourself a magical box then choose «I need healing» you may type \heal (any number) (see comments).
Purge is the primary spell against negative status in game. In Hard difficulty, it doesn’t work at all at Novice level, removes poison from regular spiders at Student level, removes poison from red spiders and lizardmen at Initiate level and removes all poison, curse, exhause and temporary attribute loss at Magister level.
Confusion is not removable by Purge and sometimes not removed by Potions of Resolution. It also makes you have trouble using items, so I’d have some Confusion Immunity on equipments.
For Disorientation I didn’t find any solution.
Permanent attributes lost can only be prevented by not being hit so try to use your companions or Infernal Hounds to tank. If you lost attributes and it’s to late to load a save, use \addattribpts (number) to gain some attribute points (if your attributes are not over their limits) or make yourself some elixirs (otherwise).
In Inquisitor you have limited number of quickslots, and spells can only be cast in quickslots. After you cast a spell there’s a rest time that prevents you from casting any spell. Therefore only a few best spells are useful. I’ll give them «Core» or «Useful».
1000 AOE damage despite what its description states. One cast is enough to kill every creature of following kinds in a very large area: Ghost, Phantom, Shadow, Fear, Terror, Rogue, Infernal Hound, Werewolf, Infernal Bat, Brat, Succubus, Succubus Mother and more.
Alchemy is another core ability. Once you’re Master in Alchemy you could gain infinite attribute points by just sitting in a potion shop, or use Cheat Engine to simplify this process.
With the exception of Spiritual Insight and Mana Restoration, all other skills are all useful.
Tip:
Skill levels from equipments are taken into account for mastery level while attributes from equipments not. The optimal way is to level up skills to 10-15 and get remaining levels from equipments. Thus you can have all skills at level 20.
