This modification adds many animations to the game for food, drinks and medicine.
THIS IS STILL IN BETA. some visual glitches/bugs/crashes could happen
(animations were converted to CoC hands rig so they looks much worse then the originals ones)

drop gamedata and bin folders from archive to main game folder with override.
If you using any addons manager you still need to MANUALLY copy bin folder to your game folder with override.
NOTE: MO2 users should DELETE bin folder from FDDA addon folder

-Addon conflicts with Soundscape Overhaul addon, if u get anims stucks try to disable it. Fixed in last version of Soundscape Overhaul, if you use it pls download update!
-Pickup animation plays anytime player got new item in inventory ( will be fixed with new callback in engine) fixed but may accure if your fps drops below 50, to fix it go to FDDA settings in MCM and change distance trigger to 0.3-0.5.

-Fixed mask overlay for canned food.
-Removed original anomaly looting animation, from now only animation from addon plays on looting mutants corpses
-removed unused parts of configs, items_anim.ltx is no longer used by the addon, please remove it from gamedata/configs/items/items/
-fixed a bug where during the playback of the skinning animation it was possible to call another animation which led to an error in the script and replaced all animations with the skinning animation until save reload.
-disabled test print for cigarette smoke effect update function
-changed the burning part of the cigarette texture
-added disabling user controls after closing the mutant loot window in case if it was closed during the skinning animation playback (after the end of the animation controls returns to the player)
-removed the remains of unused sections in the configs. the addon no longer uses or changes the [anm_base] [anm_base_hud] [anm_identity_immunities] sections
-changed timings for function call that returns controls after animation.
-From now addon uses additional config file to store items animations settings ( anims_list.ltx )
-Added new model, animation, sound and textures for cigarettes packs, Demonstration: Youtube.com
-Fixed bug when after reload on animation playback hud_fov kept switched to standard (0.45) ( for users that plays with non-standard fov )
-Restored standard adrenalin sound

Reminder/Note: Gunslinger animations contained in this addon aren’t representative of the original animations of Gunslinger, as these animations weren’t a direct port from the Gunslinger modification, but rather an adaptation rigged onto CoC’s skeleton, therefore they have a lower quality. All credits for them should go to the original team and creators.

Does it work with Boomsticks? Installing through mod manager causes a popup asking to replace a ton of files from Boomsticks. Sorry if this question was answered on the deleted version of the mod lol. Thanks for the hard work.

2 omfs are from quick melee addon, they are same so you can rewrite them
other records are same FOLDERs not files so you can rewrite them too

Any chance you could add (maybe as an option) the headtorch animation for toggling NVGs on and off? Or maybe even add models of NVGs being raised/lowered?

Stalker_Boss made 1.5.1 compatible version of the previously popular «Death Animations» by AyyKyu
This is a re-upload for people like myself who really wanted this mod, but did not want the entire modpack by Stalker_Boss, and did not know how or want to dig around the files to find them. The original mod is created by AyyKyu. All credit goes to both of them. I will remove if either of them want me to.
Thanks for the singular upload. However Mod Manager is showing that it overwritten loose files from the «Stealth» mod, is it safe?
I heard it has compatibility patch (which is actually the entire mod, because DA only changing 5 lines) ;]
It conflicts with the Stealth mod. You will acquire world peace if you install both of them together. That meaning, no human on the zone will fire at each other, or even pull the trigger at any death threat.

hate to be that guy but actually neither ayykyu nor stalker_boss would need to be *credited* here (altough it’s nice) since the death animations have been in the game definitions for a long time and removing a couple of » ; » does not need too much specialized knowledge.
on an another note: ragdoll physics work better for NPCs if you do reduce their mass in the m_stalker.ltx aswell. A value of 40 or 20 for weight will have them drop way more natural, even without the death animations.

Works but sometimes enemies will stop to put away their weapons before going into a death animation. Even zombies lol
does the mod break the enemy AI? coz i had that problem using the previous version of death animations

From what I’ve seen inside, no. But it is an easy fix that has to be made by author.

amazing. can you add the death animation from stalker clear sky? the one that happens when you shoot them with a shotgun.
Some of them should already be there if you actually blast your enemies with shotguns. I omitted the over-exaggerated ones though.
Great addon! Preferably this addon (which is a must-have feature IMO) should be added as an official feature to Anomaly, as they are working on improving the enemy AI, so this m_stalker file will most likely conflict with improvements done to enemy AI in coming updates.

The days of shooting a bandit with a shotgun and having them to the animation where they get shot a bunch is back!
In the readme file of this mod there is an explanation on how to get this mod up to date by yourselves. Its a simple matter of copy/pasting several lines of text.
1. Unpack latest m_stalker.ltx.
2. Copy it to the ‘gamedata/configs/creatures folder. Overwrite old one if it exists.
3. Do copy/paste as described in the readme.
4. Enjoy.

I like this, but is there a version where they don’t do it 100% of the time?
am I right that in the original m_stalker.ltx the related block for death animations is commented out for the most part? Ok, it’s surely not the original file, because I already got in my gamedata folder, but the entire block seems to include only disabled lines. They all begins like that: » ;random_death_animati THis means that I can just overwrite the entire block?
AyyKyu When should be expecting the Update 4 compatibility?
So I took the dive and it seems like the animations haven’t broken anything, no crashes or bugs of any sort. I tested with Yanov station clearing it 4 times and seeing all the crazy cool ways to kill these stalkers and it didn’t cause any issues. What I did notice is a microstutter when I kill them sometimes, I don’t know if this is the usual microstutter the game normally has or if it is the mod itself.
