Display Name Too Many Accessories Name JPANsTooManyAccessories Version v1.0.2 Author JPAN File Download 50.7 KB Sync now ( Origin, Mirror 1, Mirror 7, Mirror 8, Mirror 9, Mirror 10) Last Updated 5 months ago Description This mod allows you to increase your stats by using the vanity armor and accessories slots as well as your hotbar and your inventory.
It adds 8 new accessories, crafted with Expert mode drops, that allow you to increase your armor and accessory count to obscene levels.
— The Vanity Accessory Enabler, when equipped in an active accessory slot, allows you to receive accessory/armor effects from accessories/armors in your vanity slots;
— The Hotbar Accessory Enabler, when equipped in an active accessory slot, allows you to receive accessory/armor effects from accessories/armors in your hotbar;
— The Lowest Row Acessory Enabler, when equipped in an active accessory slot, allows you to receive accessory/armor effects from accessories/armors in your lowest row of inventory;
— The Two Lowest Rows Acessory Enabler, when equipped in an active accessory slot, allows you to receive accessory/armor effects from accessories/armors in your two lowest rows of inventory;
— The Almost Full Inventory Acessory Enabler, when equipped in an active accessory slot, allows you to receive accessory/armor effects from accessories/armors in any but the topmost (the one below the hotbar) row of inventory;
— The Full Inventory Acessory Enabler, when equipped in an active accessory slot, allows you to receive accessory/armor effects from accessories/armors in any row of inventory (except hotbar);
— The Total Accessory Enabler, when equipped in an active accessory slot, allows you to receive accessory/armor effects from any inventory, hotbar or vanity slots.
— The Chest Accessory Enabler must first be configured by using it (left click) on any chest, Piggybank, Safe and Defender’s forge included. Afterwards, equip it on any active accessory slot to have that chest’s content added to your stats. It is limited by config (with the default being disabled, or 0), and every chest is processed only once, but you can share chests with other players.
— Also, Chest Accessory Enabler must be reconfiged every time you enter a world (it does not save the chest it’s on, for sanity reasons), so every time you enter a world, you must open the chest with the accessories and use the Chest Enabler on it.
This is, in no way, a balanced mod.

Ever wanted to have every accessory and armor in the game equipped at once? With this mod, you can!
This mod adds a few accessories that allow using other item slots as accessory and armor slots.
The Vanity Accessory Enabler allows you to use your vanity Accessory slots as normal accessories. Some mods already do this, so it’s nothing new. But this one also allows for the armor in the armor slot to be counted towards your stats.
It is crafted with a Hive Pack, 20 Demonite/crimtane and 10 shadow scales/tissue samples.
The Hotbar Accessory Enabler allows you to use your hotbar slots as accessory slots. It will also apply armor effects (and defence). This is kinda new, and presents a challenge where you must choose between weapons/tools and accessories/armor pieces.
It is crafted with a Bone Glove 30 Demonite/crimtane and 20 shadow scales/tissue samples.
The Lowest Row Accessory Enabler turns your lowest inventory row (the bottom one) into accessory slots. You can place any item there, but only armor and accessories will provide effects.
Made with 20 Adamantite/Titanium and 50 Souls of Light and Night. This is the easiest one to make, and the only one available to non-expert players (unless you have a mod that adds expert drops in normal mode. )
The Almost Full Inventory Acessory Enabler increases the effect of the above to the bottom 3 rows (only the top inventory row below the hotbar is available for disabling accessories)
Crafted with the above enabler and a Shiny Stone.
The Full Inventory Acessory Enabler makes the entire inventory work as an accessory/armor slot. Only the hotbar escapes this (except if you have the Hotbar Accessory Enabler equipped in any non-hotbar slot, then its every slot as accessories.
Crafted with the Almost Full Enabler, 20 Luminte Bar and 20 of each vanilla pillar fragment.
The Total Inventory Acessory Enabler enables any player slot as an accessory/armor slot. It’s the combination of the Full Enabler, Vanity Enabler and Hotbar Enabler at the Tinkerer’s Workbench.
Then I have two extra accessories for you!
The Accessory Share Enabler allows players in the same team to share accessories with each other. So now your teammates can benefit from the accessories your have equipped.
It is a bit expensive, requiring 999 of both Souls of Light and Souls of Night and a Bone Key from the Dungeon Guardian!
As always, report any bug found here. I can’t guarantee a quick response ( as work as come once again) but I’ll try to keep an eye on this thread.

This mod adds item (Heart of Nature), which gives one more accessory slot on usage (stacks with Demon Heart). Drops from Plantera with 10% chance (or from her Treasure Bag on expert with the same chance). Also allows extra accessories slots to work in normal worlds.

I remember from reading the thread for the 1.3 version that it seemed to be very difficult to add more than 1 or 2 extra slots above the vanilla max. Part of it had to do with UI limitations, which I imagine would be a significant hurdle to overcome.
If VVV101 is up for it, I wouldn’t mind at least 1 more slot myself (8 is around the perfect number for me). Even just the one extra slot was insanely helpful, as it allowed me to comfortably wear boots in my last playthrough.

P.S: What do you think about old AlchemistNPC mod? It adds NPC which trading potions.
I repaired it and made some «custom» sprite using Travelling Merchant as base. This NPC doesn’t have any attack, but all other animations are working. But I can’t find name of the original author.

Yeah that’s the problem with adding extra slots.. the UI. I play on 1680×1050 resolution and the 7th slot just barely fits.
I did hear about a problem with the 1.3 version where the author had lots of difficulties adding extra slots because of the coding of the extra slot in the vanilla game. I will link the thread here and see if you can come up with any ideas for how to solve it: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/mod-for-more-accessories-in-1-3.37475/
If I got my hands on the code and figured out how to mod a bit, maybe I could see if I could do something about it myself.
As far as that Alchemist NPC, I’ve never played with it before but it seems extremely useful! However, I typically try not to do anything that makes it so I don’t have to play the game as much.. in this case, fishing and farming plants. Same reason why I don’t really care much for AFK farms in general.
But if you can find a way to port it over I’m sure that many people would appreciate it!
EDIT: To be clear about the accessory problem the previous author ran into, he found that the game cannot handle more than 2 *extra* accessory slots on top of the 5 from vanilla. Although I’ve heard of a tAPI mod that supports as many as 15 extra slots, so clearly there must be a way to do it.

If you have decompiled Terraria, look in Player.UpdateBuffs(). Anyway, I assume you are talking about Crate Potions not Create Potions, so you’ll want to set player.cratePotion to true.
An alternate to decompiling is using Visual Studio to code your mod and when you type «player.» a window will pop up with suggestions. You can usually find what you want by guessing the name and as you type the field you want will show itself in the autocomplete window.

You can find Visual Studio here (this is the 2015 Community Edition). Visual Studio is basically a program with some ‘advanced’ programming tools (like the one @jopojelly mentioned and much, much more).
If you want to decompile Terraria, I’d suggest downloading IlSpy (google that and download the binaries). If you open the program, you can just drag and drop your Terraria.exe file (from your Steam folder) into the program and you’re good to go.

Hi guys, i’m looking for a few ways on some of my accessories and how they should work, at the moment they are coded like this
So I’m new to the world of coding, and literally have no idea of what any term means.
— Why is there an «ite» before «diskbattleset» and the ingredients?
— Can you write «item.value» by using «(0, 50, 0, 0)?
— What does «itecredit, 250» mean?
— What does «(300, 30);» mean?
— What does «AddTile(114)» mean?
Sorry if I ask too many questions. [EDIT: I figured out what «AddTile(114)» means]
