Как пользоваться SDRSharp — инструкция по установке и базовой настройке

Сегодня я расскажу о то, как пользоваться самой известной программой, которая используется для работы приемника RTL-SDR, которая называется SDRSharp. О том, что такое SDR приемник я рассказывал в одной из прошлых статей https://radiohooligan.ru/sdr-priemnik/

Устанавливать SDRSharp будем на лицензионную WINDOWS 10, на которой уже изначально должен быть установлен свежий Microsoft Net (программа работает с Net 4.6 или более поздней версией). Последнюю версию Microsoft Net можно скачать с сайта https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=55167.

Оба сайта официальные от Microsoft. Можно смело открывать и скачивать.

Внимание: программа SDRSharp не будет работать на WINDOWS XP.

Для того чтобы скачать программу SDRSharp переходим на официальный сайт разработчика https://airspy.com/download/

Далее нажимаем кнопочку скачать, в папку загрузки скачается архив под названием sdrsharp-x86.zip.

Далее создаем папку с названием sdrsharp на диске(C) и распакуем туда файл sdrsharp-x86.zip (не создавайте папку в Program Files — будут проблемы с запуском). В распакованной папке находим файл install-rtlsdr.bat

Дважды щелкаем по нему левой кнопкой мыши: на экране запустится командная строка и закроется автоматически в течении нескольких секунд.

В папку с распакованной программой появятся файлы rtlsdr.dll и zadig.exe

В случае если эти файлы не появились — попробуйте отключить антивирус на время установки или вы разместили папку с распакованной программой в директории Program Files.

Далее вставляем SDR приемник в USB разъем — у меня работает в 3.0 и запускаем файл Zadig.exe через правую кнопку мыши от имени администратора. Нажимаем Options, устанавливаем галочку в строке List All Devices

Далее в строке Device выбираем Bulk-In, Interface (Interface 0), (могут выпадать и другие устройства такие как RTL2832U или RTL2832UHIDIR их тоже можно выбирать), в строке Driver после зеленой стрелки должно стоять WinUSB, в строке USB ID должно стоять 0BDA 2838 00

В папке с распакованной программой SDRSharp находим файл SDRSharp.exe и двойным щелчком левой кнопки мыши запускаем его:

Программа запустится и вы увидите примерно вот такое:

Под строкой Source нажимаем маленький треугольник выбора устройств и выбираем наше устройство RTL-SDR(USB).

Устройство выбрано — теперь нажимаем зубастое 🙂 колесико вверху слева: выходит окошко RTL-SDR Controller — настраиваем как на картинке:

Нажимаем кнопку треугольник слева вверху и запускаем программу:

Инструкция по установке драйвера Zadig и программы SDRSharp. Возможные проблемы и их решение.

2. Скачать архив sdr-install.zip, распаковать и запустить sdr-install.bat. Все необходимые компоненты будут скачаны автоматически.

4. Запускаем SDRSarp.exe. В разделе Source нужно выбрать RTL-SDR / USB. В настройках ставим галочку RTL AGC, усиление RF Gain добавляем до 30-40 дБ. В разделе Radio модуляция WFM, галочки FM STEREO и Correct IQ. Теперь можно нажать на старт и настроиться на какую-нибудь станцию FM диапазона.

Свисток не определяется, либо определяется но работает некорректно
Вероятные причины:
1. Не установился драйвер Задиг либо винда поставила свой. Запустить Zadig.exe и переустановить драйвер.
2. Слишком тонкий и длинный шнур USB, если свисток подключен не напрямую.
3. USB порт 1.1 (не поддерживается). USB 3.0 либо дает помехи, либо не работает вовсе. Оптимален порт 2.0.
4. Не хватает тока USB порта. На ПК такого не встречалось, но на дешевых планшетах бывает.
Чтобы проверить, нужно подключить свисток через USB HUB с внешним питанием.

Zadig выдает ошибку «The driver installation falled»
Драйвер не установится до тех пор, пока windows не установит свой, или не поймет, что у неё нет драйвера для этого устройства. Vasilii

Ошибка «1 compatible devices have been found but are all busy»
Запустить Zadig и кроме winusb обновить libusb (обе, win32 и k). artlover

Прием есть, но даже на FM очень слабый или вообще одни шумы
Как правило, не выставлено усиление в настройках программы. Также необходимо проверить контакт с антенной (разъем должен войти до щелчка). Можно попробовать открутить штырек и прикрутить провод длинной метра полтора.

Для очень слабых машин есть упрощенная программка.

Установка ПО и драйверов для SDR приема.

1. Скачайте и распакуйте содержимое архива SDRSharp в любую папку.

2. Запустите install-rtlsdr.bat из распакованной папки SDRSharp. Этот скрипт скачает необходимые для RTL устройства файлы.

3. Вставьте тюнер в порт USB 2.0 и запустите Zadig.exe (Фото 3).

Если в строке нет устройств, значит ваша система уже поставила другой драйвер или вы поставили родной драйвер от производителя. В этом случае зайдите в меню «Options» в Zadig и установите галочку «List All Devices».

Устройство должно появится в выпадающем списке. Выберите WinUSB драйвер в строке «Driver» и нажмите «Install Driver». Если установка драйвера прошла успешно вы получите соответствующее сообщение.

Возможные трудности во время установки:

Скрипт install-rtlsdr.bat работает не верно и не скачивает файлы с интернета.

Скачайте RelWithDebInfo.zip. Там необходим только один файл, лежащий по пути: rtl-sdr-releasex32rtlsdr.dll или rtl-sdr-releasex64rtlsdr.dll (в зависимости от разрядности системы).

Скопируйте его в папку с программой SDRSharp.

Скачайте Zadig.exe

Случается скрипт install-rtlsdr.bat не корректно работает на Windows 10.

Необходимо распаковать архив RelWithDebInfo.zip и скопировать все файлы из папки rtl-sdr-releasex32 или rtl-sdr-releasex64 (в зависимости от разрядности системы) в папку программы SDRSharp.

Тюнер не определяется, либо работает некорректно.

Не установился драйвер Zadig либо система поставила свой. Запустите Zadig.exe и переустановить драйвер.

Слишком тонкий и длинный провод USB. Замените на более качественный.

USB 1.1 (не поддерживается). USB 3.0 может работать не корректно. Оптимален порт USB 2.0.

Не хватает тока USB порта. Такое бывает на планшетах. Можно решить эту проблему подключив через кабель с внешним питанием.

При нажатии на кнопку старта вылетает ошибка, либо программа закрывается.

Как запустить SDRSharp на Windows XP, у кого пишет что приложение не WIN32.

Необходимо скачать Zadig для XP. А также скачать самую последнюю поддерживаемую для Windows XP версию SDRSharp v1361.

Windows 8/8.1 не даёт установить не подписанный драйвер.

Далее будет предложен выбор загрузок, восстановление и т.п. Необходимо выбрать загрузку с «изменёнными параметрами» и установить драйвер.

Начало работы с программой SDRSharp.

Запустите SDRSharp.exe (Фото 4).

Для начала вам необходимо настроить SDRSharp для работы с RTL тюнером. Выберите в строке рядом с кнопкой PLAY устройство «RTL-SDR (USB)».

Заходим в настройки вашего приемника Configure (Фото 5).

Для начала поставьте 1024 для одно-ядерных процессоров и 2048 для много-ядерных. Потом экспериментальным путем определите максимум для вашей системы.

Теперь нажмите PLAY и настройтесь на любую FM радио станцию, а во вкладке Radio включите вид модуляции WFM (Фото 2).

Ещё несколько полезных настроек:

Установите галку Correct IQ во вкладке Radio. Это улучшит подавление зеркального канала и уберет палку в центре спектра.

Установите галку Filter Audio во вкладке Audio. Звук станет приятнее уйдет высокочастотный шум и треск.

Галку Snap to Grid лучше пока убрать. Для начала надо откалибровать частоту приемника.

Если звук прерывается, возможно вы выбрали слишком широкую полосу приемника и ваш процессор не справляется.

Нажмите кнопку Configure и попробуйте разные настройки AGC и RF Gain.

В приемном тракте несколько автоматических регулировок усиления. Данная AGC программная, поддерживает уровень звука после демодуляции на одном уровне и не влияет на общее усиление тракта от антенны до демодуляции.

Установка драйверов и программы управления SDR приёмником

Сейчас начинается кропотливая работа по установке драйверов и программы управления. Как говорится, не «бегите впереди паровоза», а делайте точно по инструкции. Шаг в шаг.

1. Если вы приобрели SDR приёмник как у нас ( http://ali.pub/55m0dq), то в комплекте с ним будет маленький диск с драйверами. Если же диска нет, или у вас нет CD-Rom-а, не беда, вот эти драйвера https://yadi.sk/d/bjfPakpC3RCZx2

5. SDR приёмник у вас всё это время должен быть подключён к компьютеру. Запускайте скаченный файл zadig-2.3.exe В меню драйвера, вверху, нажмите Options и поставьте галочку List All Devices. Это для того, чтобы драйвер смог увидеть ваш SDR приёмник.

6. После этого в окошке программы покажется список ваших всех USB устройств, в том числе и SDR приёмник. Он будет отображаться как Bulk-In, Interface (Interface 0), выбираете его.

7. После этого, нажмите большую кнопку Replace Driver

8. Драйвер Zadig начнёт установку, после которой появится окошко, что драйвер установлен. Нажимайте «Close» и закрывайте программу Zadig. На этом, самый сложный этап завершен.

3. Этот файл необходимо поместить в папку, в которую у вас установлена программа HDSDR. (по умолчанию C:\Program Files\HDSDR, или C:\Program Files(x86)\HDSDR )

5. Его так же нужно поместить в папку, где у вас стоит программа HDSDR (по умолчанию C:\Program Files\HDSDR, или C:\Program Files(x86)\HDSDR ).

Теперь, настроим саму программу HDSDR

1. Запускайте программу по ярлыку на рабочем столе. В момент запуска у вас каждый раз будет появляться такое окно

3. Программа на английском языке, но, интуитивна понятна. Самое главное, запомните в настройках программы этот путь: Options / Misc Oprions / Reset to factory settings. Это функция, которая обнуляет все найстроки программы на заводские. Она вам обязательно пригодится, чтобы сбрасывать настройки, когда будете экспериментировать 😉

Getting the RTL-SDR to work in Windows 10

The RTL-SDR is fully compatible with Windows 10. However with the recent release of Windows 10 some users have been having trouble using their RTL-SDR after upgrading. We thought that we’d announce that the simple solution to most problems is to reinstall the SDR drivers with Zadig. The latest version of Zadig can be downloaded from zadig.akeo.ie or if you use SDR# then it will already be in your SDR# folder. The process is:

The Windows 10 upgrade process appears to replace the WinUSB drivers with the Windows DVB-T ones, so reinstalling the SDR drivers is necessary. It shouldn’t be necessary, but one user also reported the need to log in to Windows with an administrator account and to uninstall the current drivers before running Zadig, so try that if you continue to have problems.

As in our previous post we can confirm that several popular SDR apps such as SDR#, HDSDR, SDR-Radio, CubicSDR and Unitrunker all work fine in Windows 10.

How can i run 2 rtl-sdr dongles on windows 10?

If you have this problem, try run regedit and locate this:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceInstall\Restrictions

The reason why driver instalation is blocked found in this parameter: “DenyUnspecified”, with parameter 1. Change it to 0(zero).

Seems the Windows10 system initialy blocks driver instalation for all unspecified equipments. It probably means drivers for equipment without WCID. Register parameter change described above will solve the problem.

I have run the this download and the Zadig function several times. I now no longer have a ‘bulk-in interface 0’ option in Zadig. Another website said if I did not have that option to select the ‘RTL2838UHIDIR’ instead and install the driver. I have now installed the ‘WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385)’ driver. When I open SDRSharp and select the “RTL-SDR (USB)” as the source and click the play button, I get an error saying “No Audio playback device found.” There is nothing showing on my spectrum. I have no idea what to do now. I am using the NESDR SMARTeeXTR dongle by NooElec. Please help.

Are there whoever encounter with invalid parameter problem and solve?

Hi, Server timed out on initial post. Sorry if this shows up twice. Having trouble getting RTL-SDR V.3 to show up as a source in AirSpy. Device manager shows USB devices / Bulk-In, Interface (Interface 0), and Human Interface devices / HID Infrared Remote Receiver. They both go away if I remove the RTL-SDR, so I assume that it installed OK. Any help appreciated.

Have a new Dell Windows 10 PC and have used RTL-SDR, SDR# and Zadig extensively – always worked. When I install the RTL-SDR driver and look in SDR# it shows EZCAP instead of RTL-SDR and crashes when I try to start the tuner. What am I missing? I tried running as Administrator with no luck.

I fixed it. Followed Step 5 – above. Ran the install batch file. That downloaded the required driver files. Then I went back into Zadig (ran as Administrator) and did the re-install driver process. Started SDR# and SDR-Console – both worked like a charm. Great pieces of free software. Thanks to whomever put all the effort into those gems!

Gqrx SDR Ubuntu work easily, win 10 is not intended for other than its own programs and browsing the web

Final solution for Windows 10 last update. Use this program first and then the Zadig: http://visualgdb.com/UsbDriverTool/

The procedure i follow with windows 10 is insert the dongle,start zadig 2.3.
Make sure that list all devices is selected,from the pull down menu select bulkinterface 0
Replace driver with winusb.if it failed just do a reboot and try again it should work fine.
Download the zipfile relwithdebinfo,http://sdr.osmocom.org/trac/attachment/wiki/rtl-sdr/RelWithDebInfo.zip?wptouch_preview_theme=enabled
extract the zipfile.
Now copy the 32bit version of the driver to the sdr# folder not the 64 bit.
Startup sdr# and select from the pulldown menu rtlsdr usb.
Now you can go to settings and adjust the gain and select the dongle you want to use.
The number of dongles i use is about 4 to 6,
What i also noticed is if you put different drivers in the sdr# folder,example for plugins it can result in a crash of sdr#.
Hopefully it helps you guys with windows 10.

I have two dongles… neither have I ever had them working. I have tried Zadig, I have gone through the steps on the sites that I have found through searching out this issue. It seems that it’s all a waste of time! Isn’t there someone who manufactures these things that provides software AND drivers that work in Windows 10? Very disgruntled and tired of the hours and hours chasing this stupid thing.

Windows 10 is shit, use windows 7 instead.

Don’t select Airspy in the device menu unless you’re using an Airspy. Choose RTL-SDR (USB).

I got it up on windows 10
I can not however connect to it via tcp 127.0.0.1:1234, the machine actively refused the connection.

Options for Windows 10:
open your Group Policy Editor (as Admin) – one way to do this is to search on your start menu or enter in a Run box gpedit.msc
Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update
There you will find an entry “do not include drivers with Windows Update”
set it to enabled. This will be for all drivers, be warned.

There are other options there you may be interested in such as “no auto-restart with logged on users” – tired of Windows logging you out while you’re working?
Or disable “allow automatic updates immediate installation”, this means you will have to do it on your own.

Start Menu problems, Windows 10 has known issues with the Start Menu failing. Microsoft has a tool you can download to attempt to fix it. It may or may not work. Sometimes the tool will report that it didn’t fix it but it did indeed fix it. Windows 10 is a kludge. Go here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12385/windows-10-troubleshoot-problems-opening-start-menu-cortana and look for “try the troubleshooter”.
Attempting to uninstall built-in apps for Windows 10 will often break the Start Menu, other things apparently do as well.

With the upgrade to Windows 10 I have had to choose to either have Windows working correctly or being able to use HDSDR with the Zadig driver. If I install the Zadig driver, HDSDR works fine, but causes many important features to stop working on Windows 10, for example, the Windows 10 Start Menu/Button stops working, clicking on the search or Cortana search box does nothing, when trying to preview open applications on the task bar the menu that normally pops up to be able to close, minimize, etc. does not come out anymore by right clicking the application’s icon. Since the Start Menu/Button stops working, only way to restart or shut down the computer is to use ctrl, alt, delete to be able to do so. Researched the possible causes of the Windows 10 issues with no fix, by chance I ended up uninstalling the Zadig driver and Windows 10 started to work normally again. Just to make sure, I then tried on a different computer with Windows 10 and the same thing happened. I need my PC working correctly so no HDSDR and Zadig for me anymore…

A new problem with Windows 10. BTW I have reinstalled using Zadig several times and turned off (I think) the automatic USB upgrades. It works perfectly, for about 5 to 10 minutes and then crashes. Sometimes it can be restarted but it crashes very soon after that. Does anyone know if Win 10 is somehow still snaking in an upgrade,behind my back?

I’m having the exact same problem, SDR# crashes after about 5 minutes. Started happening out of nowhere, so suspecting one of the recent Windows updates as well.

Hi. Im having a similar problem after upgrade to win10 64 bits. Sdr# crashes randomly with Realtek dongle. It sometimes works well for just 5 mins and other Times 30 minutes Or more. Tried replacing driver with older zadig, disable anti vírus, checking mouse options as the crashes are more often when i use the trackpad. I also have various copies of sdr# on diferent folders for the keneerd and hf experimental drivers but Guess this is not the problem since all use the same zadig driver i think. Any suggestion?

After some time looking for options to change i finaly solved my problem. Looks like on order for this to work, at least on my win10, i nedded to go to advanced power saving options and disable the option as when my laptop is conected to plug and battery. After that all is working as it should.

Sorry but the option did not appear on the last post. The option to disable is: selective usb suspension.

Hi, had the same problem sdr# not seeing the rtl-sdr device. using zadig driver. to fix i copied the rtlsdr.dll file in the zadig directory to the sdr# directory, it copied ok and did not over wright any files(i was missing the dll), and then started sdr# – it is able to access the rtl-sdr device and is working ok now.

The zadig did the trick for Windows 10. No problem. My next project will by trying skywave Linux on my laptop. The windows laptop is my girlfriend’s.

When I ‘try’ to open SDR Sharp, nothing happens, and a file called ‘crash.txt’ is created. This happens every time! It’s annoying. In crash.txt this is shown:

Can anyone help…..
I have an SDR R820T Nooelec dongle and it works fine under HDSDR but always get device not found. Running Win10 on Surface Pro and suspect it may be the USB3. If it wasn’t running on HDSDR I would suspect a driver but having run zadig and also can see it in device manager it is not the driver. Also downloaded and run the install file so if it is not the USB3 which I suspect is fine as HDSDR works fine it must be SDR# and a missing dll.

Please help as I am seriously frustrated!

Also please don’t suggest zadig been there, done that to death!

I tried to the same thing, and there is no joy, and I am running a Windows 10 32 bit operating system. Now I know I need to get a 64 bit operating system installed soon just to get this software to work. For the time being until I switch to 64 bit, I have to use linux based RTL SDR software on a flash drive. I know, the struggle is real.

Just installed CubicSDR on a Pipo9 “tablet” running Windows 10 32-bit, and don’t see any spectrum nor waterfall. SDR#, HDSDR, and SDR-Console work fine with the RTL-SDR dongle (love the TCXO by the way). What do I need to do to see signals?

Right pain getting it working on Win10 after i reinstalled windows, kept messing about with zadig and trying to install them manually in device manager but to no avail.
then i tried rtl_test and it saw it, so the problem was sdrsharp! it was missing rtlsdr.dll sigh.
downloaded it and all was working…

I had the same situation on windows 10 it says device not found!

For the life of me I can’t get Zadig 2.1.2 drivers to work on Windows 10. They install, but when I run SDR# with my RTL connected – it says “device not found”. I have had them working on 8.1, but for some reason they don’t seem to work on Windows 10 – any thoughts?
