Пока T4 активно дорабатывается, предлагаем ознакомиться с более старым, но заслуживающим внимания реплейсером.

Перед вами очередная модификация ставшего ‘легендарным’ реплейсера Type 3, предлагающая несколько более фигуристый вариант тела.
В составе мода идет замена брони плюс патч для BNB.

* Модификация не имеет esp, поэтому вполне может быть установлена на Fallout 3.

Установка:
Распаковать содержимое папки MAIN (в архиве) в папку Data вашей игры.
(опционально) Распаковать содержимое папки BNB_Patch. (Патч для BNB-скелета.)

A hard reset for FO3 and NV male bodies. Mesh replacers as requirements and other silliness are now things of the past.
WHAT’S THE POINT?
I’m tired of dealing with mesh replacers that are poorly rigged, incompatibilities with DLCs and I felt like doing it.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
K2 BREEZE REDUX Base Files: the base files for both FO3 and NV. This includes base textures for raiders, ghouls, and the playable race humans. There are a few armor replacers, but only to fix what is needed.
FO3_DLC Pitt: mesh replacers where needed and male texures for the Pitt Mutated Humans.
FO3_DLC PointLookout: Tribal race textures and outfit fixes.
NV_BREEZE REDUX Sexout Body Suit: Amra72‘s Breeze body mesh remapped to work with Breeze Redux.
NV_DLC OldWordlBlues: meshes fixes and an esp to revive the unused Lobomite body textures.
NV_DLC LonesomeRoad: textures for the DLC’s Marked Men.

INSTALLATION
Drop the download contents into your data folder. Go to the folder Data\meshes\characters\_male and look for the files upperbody_nude erect, upperbody_nude and upperbodymale_underwear shorts. Rename the mesh of your choice to upperbody. Activate the esp(s) if needed and play. The game will do the rest.

honest hearts Kendo 2’s Honest Hearts Tribals

WHAT IS IT?
Type3 and Breeze Males Redux mesh and texture replacers for the Honest Hearts DCL Tribals.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
The esp repaths the Honest Hearts Tribal meshes and textures and makes them work like standard races. They have their own texture folders and will use the default body mesh you have installed. The males use Breeze Males Redux and the females use Type3 Cali Boobs.
There are mesh replacers for the default tribal outfits plus three new outfits; a base Dead Horses unarmored tribal set, a male version of Waking Cloud’s outfit and a new outfit for White Bird.
A new leveled list has been added for Dead Horse non-combatants, Waking Cloud’s outfit is now playable, as is White Bird’s new outfit.
REQUIREMENTS
Type3 compatible body meshes, Breeze Males Redux, and the Honest Hearts DLC.
COMPATIBILITY/INCOMPATIBILITY
The male meshes and textures are compatible with vanilla Fallout New Vegas. They are not compatible with Sesom’s Breeze New Vegas Males, Nivea’s Robert’s Male Body FNV or the Robert’s Male version made by FavoredSoul. And obviously, anything that changes the Honest Hearts Tribal races.
INSTALLATION
Drop the download contents into your data folder, activate the esp and play. The game will do the rest.

Companion Idles

Companion Idles.
Adds idle animations for Boone, Gannon, Cass, Veronica and Raul. The idle animations have been added to FollowplayerDEFAULT and FollowplayerLONG, I’ve left everything else alone as they’re flakey enough as it is and I don’t want to mess with them.
What does this do? When companions are following and you stop instead of your follower just standing there dead still staring ahead an idle animation will be played. Mostly it’s subtle movements but enough to keep them looking alive. They’ll fidget, scratch themselves or whatever. This is compatible with «Companion Sandbox Mode» by Povuholo.
Installation.
Drop the Comp_Idles_NV.esp in your data folder and check it off in the laucher.
Removal.
Uncheck in the launcher, delete the esp.
As with all mods be sure to make a save before installing. It’s been tested with a custom companion and Boone, neither exploded so it should be fine.
Do what you want with it, if you can improve on it then please do.

The Island

Requires the assets from http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42835/?. You don’t need to have its esp enabled, just the assets in your game.
General stuff.
This is graphically intense and may suffer from low frame rates on lower spec machines, your game must be 4GB enabled.
The entrance is a trap door between the Goodsprings pub and store.
The Navmesh isn’t perfect but there are no real serious problems.
There are invisible walls around the rocks to keep NPCs from getting stuck on them.
If you use a mod that adds rain then it will rain indoors, this is an engine issue present since Morrowind
NMM will tell you this is an ESM, the master flag was set to correct navmesh oddities.
The lights are on a timer, if you first arrive at night and everything is dark then wait 24 hours, that will get the script started and the lights will switch on and off as intended after that.
The evenings are slightly longer than standard, I’m a sucker for sunsets.
This mod is released «As is», no further development will be happening, you are however free to improve upon it.

Precious Companion

This adds a companion called «Precious» to the Goodsprings pub, those who freqent the Nexus New Vegas Imageshare will probably know who she is. Those who don’t can find out by going to my profile picture tab over there, there you’ll find plenty of pictures as well as comics and links to larger comics. Not that you need to know anything about her to use her.
Requirements.
Mojave Delight by Glosshouse.
Eyelashes New Vegas by Throttlekitty.
(Optional) Mojave Delight Coolhair Replacer will improve hair texture.
Suggested sources for clothing.
Kristinas Closet for Type 3 and Breeze by jonas
Rivens Goodsprings Vendor_Plus Mannequins

Installation.
Install the two required mods, the esps don’t have to be enabled but the assets must in your game.
Drop the esp from this into your data folder.
Enable the esp from this with the manager of your choice, not the games own launcher, it’s crap.
Travel to the Goodsprings Pub and she’ll be wondering about in there.
To Uninstall.
Delete the esp.
That’s it.

FAQ.
Q, Does she have a companion Wheel?
A, Yes and it works.
Q, Why is NMM/FOMM/My cat telling me it’s ESM when the extension says ESP?
A, The master flag is set to avoid a possible head/body texture mismatch that can happen with custom NPCs.
Q, Is she also playable?
A, Yes but she only has one set of eyes and hair, you’d have to add more if you want a different look.
Q, Is she voiced?
A, No, being a guy I can’t do it and my better half being as supportive as ever didn’t want to know.

15 января вышла модификация Frontier для Fallout: New Vegas. Это крупнейший мод в истории трехмерного Fallout – авторы обещали карту, не уступающую размером Fallout 3, десятки новых врагов и десятки тысяч строк диалогов с профессиональной озвучкой.

Обычно подобные модификации выходят без шума, но за последние две недели Frontier успел стать самым скандальным модом 2021 года.

Frontier делали 6 лет – было много трейлеров, но о дате релиза ничего не говорили

На реализацию амбиций понадобилось много времени – только разработка механики вождения заняла у авторов 9 месяцев. Frontier постепенно превращался в долгострой.

Кроме десятка различных тизеров и трейлеров на Youtube разработчики так ничего и не показывали, а на вопросы о дате выхода отвечали «возможно, в следующем году».

Кстати, в 2016 году вышел трейлер мода под композицию «Не спеши» российской рок-группы «Мураками». Правами на трек поделилась студия Gaijin Entertainment, которая использовала песню в промо-видео для War Thunder, но больше никакого сотрудничества между модерами и Gaijin не было.

Более шести лет авторы The Frontier продолжали выкладывать различные видео, интервью, дневники разработки и только в декабре 2020 объявили дату релиза – 15 января 2021.

28 января модификацию удалили из общего доступа из-за дизайнера под ником ZuTheSkunk. Его обвиняют в создании и публикации «педофильской анимации» на личных страницах в соцсетях. На момент написания статьи аккаунты ZuTheSkunk в твиттере и на DeviantArt удалены.

Остальной контент в моде тоже вызвал вопросы. Критике подверглось то, за что фанаты любят серию Fallout – персонажи и диалоги. Игрокам особенно запомнились две девушки – 18-летняя Америка, которая становится личной рабыней главного героя, и Мэй, мечтающая о совершеннолетии – ведь тогда она сможет заняться «взрослыми делами». Кажется, теперь извращенцем стали считать не только одного аниматора.

Уже 2 февраля разработчики вернули модификацию в общий доступ после редактирования – пришлось удалить огромное количество контента. Но речь не о том, что создал ZuTheSkunk, а о вкладе других людей, которые теперь не хотят ассоциироваться со скандальным Frontier.

По просьбе актеров из мода удалена озвучка, автор музыки для радио Breach Outreach и часть художников также потребовали убрать свои работы. Один из актеров озвучки, которого потеряла команда, – Рэй Чейз, сыгравший принца Ноктиса (главного героя Final Fantasy XV) и Эфру де Тершаава (лидер сопротивления в Mass Effect: Andromeda).

Иконки для «Пип-боя», которые пришлось переделать (ведь их нарисовал ZuTheSkunk) кажутся мелочью по сравнению с этим.

Также убрали контент, вызвавший негодование игроков – девушек Мэй и Америку и расу змееподобных существ под названием трочили, с которыми в игре есть «любовная линия».

Не все так плохо – фанаты хвалят атмосферу и реализацию вождения

Несмотря на негатив вокруг Frontier, модификация все же понравилась многим игрокам. Фанаты первых двух частей отмечают атмосферу, где черный юмор и отсылки к современным медиа переплетаются с мраком и безнадегой постапокалипсиса. В Fallout 2, к примеру, встречался суперкомпьютер «Скайнет», отсылающий к «Терминатору», Элли и Тотошка из «Волшебника страны Оз» и куча других пасхалок. В Frontier игроки уже нашли отсылку на Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare и наскальный рисунок Била Шифра из Гравити Фолз.

Подкачала техническая составляющая – вместо обещанной оптимизации для слабого железа во Frontier просаживается FPS на компьютере, где без проблем запускается New Vegas.

Зато остальные обещания выполнены: реализовано вождение на танках, багги и вертибердах. Игроки отмечают, что вождение в Frontier уделывает другие модификации для Fallout 3, 4 и New Vegas.

Увы, дальнейшая судьба модификации печальна. В Discord-сервере Frontier руководитель разработки сообщил, что команда огорчена сложившейся ситуацией, но все же планирует выпустить финальную версию мода в Steam. На этом его официальная поддержка закончится.

Happy new year everyone.

It has been a couple of years since I last updated you all on the more internal goings on at Nexus Mods so I’ve decided to drum up enough enthusiasm to write another of my long-winded, banal «blog posts» on the matter. I wasn’t able to get around to doing one last year and I am aware that some of you actually like to punish yourselves, but if you’re like me and just like to skim read, here’s the TL;DR:
