Представляем вашему вниманию совершенно новый Рашкинск, построенный на принципах открытости и незамкнутого геймплея. Новая карта по духу повторяет Москву, промзоны, спальные районы. В будущем планируется добавление нового района и улучшение существующих.

Карта создана для проекта «Rashkinsk.Ru» [vk.com]

Построены на базе пропов, что существенно позволяет развернуть в будущем дополнительные без увеличения брашлимита

Карта нелинейна, предоставляет обширные возможности для создания ролевой игры и геймплея.

Средний компьютер в состоянии вытащить огромные объемы и играть, благодаря резке через areaportal’ы и Far Z-Clip.

Инфраструктура карты позволяет использовать помещения под нужды ролевого процесса:
Детский сад, РУВД, Колония для заключенных, Пожарная часть, Мусоросжигательный завод, Автосалон, Дом культуры, Рынок, Футбольное поле, Автосервис, Бассейн, Автобусно-трамвайный парк, Больница, Банк, Рюмочная и прочие места для вашего отыгрыша.

Озеро, проточные речки, все для приятного времяпрепровождения.

Много текстур раньше было взаимствовано, но для новой карты возникла потребность ходить и фотографировать районы Москвы. Потрачено достаточно много времени на фото в разные времена года.

А вот и подходит к завершению первый этап ЗБТ (ЗБТ-I)

Самый первый этап ЗБТ — самый сложный этап тестирования и отладки: всё постоянно отваливается, где-то модели не те, где-то текстуры забыли в контент подложить, Показать полностью. где-то коннектор к БД неправильно настроен, где-то просто какая-то непонятная муть на стыке кучи сложных штук.

Да и путь мы выбрали непростой: нам нужно не только разработать кроссерверный гейммод, объединяющий несколько Garry’s Mod серверов в единый игровой мир, но и заполнить каждую локацию (карту) так, чтобы каждая была не хуже самостоятельного игрового сервера. Аж у если вспомнить про отладку кроссерверных механик, так вообще голова кругом пойдёт!

Короче, очень много всего нужно проверить и отладить, под капотом и в инфраструктуре. А для этого нужно старательно отлавливать косяки, с чем команда тестировщиков первой волны справилась замечательно — за что им огромное спасибо (и бонусы на релизе)!
