«Магия» без правил

В МТГ Арену можно играть бесплатно, а можно платить донат. Для бесплатной игры на старте дают начальные колоды, которыми можно проходить ежедневные задания, «дейлики», получать за победы карты и зарабатывать внутриигровую валюту, на которую можно покупать бустеры и оплачивать участие в турнирах.

За настоящие деньги можно купить внутриигровые золото и кристаллы, которыми оплачивают во внутриигровом магазине бустеры и участие в турнирах.

Но с каждым релизом компания выпускает промокоды на разные бесплатные штуки в Арене. Все коды можно применить в аккаунте лишь раз.

Компенсация за нестабильную работу приложения

Коды на бустеры

Эти коды общие для всех игроков, то есть каждый может «погасить» такой код, и у другого игрока он будет действовать.

Коды общие для всех, можно активировать любые.

Коды на колоды плейнсволкеров

Если купить бумажные колоды мироходцев свежих выпусков (от Гильдий Равники и далее, кроме базовых, Core Set), то в коробке можно найти код на идентичную колоду в MTG Arena.

Код уникальный, только один человек может получить по нему бонус.

Коды на полноформатные земли Расцвета Зендикара

Код ZendikarLands даёт 3 случайные земли этого выпуска. Прочие можно получить за участие в премьер-драфтах. Код действует до релиза следующего сета, Калдхейм.

Код на лимитед турнир

В пререлизные наборы кладут уникальные коды для участия в турнире в Арене. Такой код можно использовать один раз на аккаунт, поэтому выпрашивать у друзей их лишние коды, даже если они их не «погасили» у себя, бессмысленно.

Промокод даёт «токен» на участие в турнире, в зависимости от выпуска.

Коды на стили

В 2019 в МТГ Арене появились стили карт и протекторы. Стили дают некое подобие альтернативного арта карты. Чтобы его использовать, нужно иметь в коллекции Арены оригинальную карту. Но применить код на стиль можно и без карты в коллекции. Просто когда карта появится в коллекции, тогда и можно будет картой в этом стиле играть.

Протекторы как и в бумажной Магии позволяют визуально выделить свою колоду. Другой пользы как в бумажной «Магии» (легче перемещивать колоду и проще защищать от повреждений карты) от них нет. Обычно протекторы оплачивают кристаллами.

Промокод на 2 случайных стиля — FNMATHOME

Промокод на стили для 5 карт (Узы Света, Предвосхищение, Обреченный Инакомыслящий, Виашино Пиромант, Ллановарские Эльфы, Метеоритный Голем) и один стиль протекторов: StarterStyles (добавлено: закончился).

Чтобы сменить протекторы, нужно в разделе конструктора колоды (где меняется картинка для коробки колоды) кликнуть на рубашку карт и выбрать протекторы.

Для повышения уровня есть код LevelUp, который даёт +2000XP. Кажется, что если это даст вам переход между уровнем, то ещё и получите халявный бустер. Я получил М20.

ExperimentalOverload — код на 2000 XP в качестве извинений за проблемы на Арена Опен.

RestorativeBurst — код на 2000 XP

Ещё такой же код на экспу BroughtBack (добавлено: закончился).

Другие тематичные коды

OneBillion — код на один бустер War of the Spark (добавлено: закончился).

GameKnights — код на 60-карточную легальную в Стандарте колоду Avenging Angels (действует до 28 июня 2021).

MTG Arena Codes – September 2021

Below is the full list of all the currently available, non-unique promotional MTG Arena codes you can redeem for free booster packs, cosmetics, Mastery XP, individual cards, and more. New codes are added from time to time, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back later!

How to Redeem Codes

MTG Arena codes can be redeemed within the Store section of the game, on the top right corner. Codes can only be redeemed once per account, and may be case sensitive. New players should only open booster packs after obtaining all the New Player Experience decks as duplicate cards will not be added to the collection.

For mobile users, you can currently only redeem the codes via a web browser through the following link and logging into your Wizards account: https://myaccounts.wizards.com/login?redirectTo=%2Fcode

Non-Unique Promotional Codes

Unique Promotional Codes

MTG Arena also has unique codes that can be used once per account, as part of a promotion or purchasing a tabletop product. You can also buy these codes directly from trusted vendors such as Gray Viking Games. For a few dollars, you can instantly obtain the codes to booster packs, cards, cosmetics and more. Below is the full list of known promotions so far.

Prerelease Packs

Tabletop prerelease packs contain an unique MTG Arena code card, which you can redeem for six booster packs of the corresponding set. As far as codes go, this will be the best bang for your buck in terms of boosting your collection if you are purchasing it separately and not attending a prerelease. Limit one code per account and expiry date as per on the cards.

Planeswalker Decks

Planeswalker decks are introductory products that accompany Core Sets. Each deck contains a code to redeem for each of the cards that you can redeem on MTG Arena, and you can check out the contents of these decks to find out what cards will be added to your collection. These decks also contain unique cards not contained in booster packs but are often overcosted for what they do and not designed for competitive play. As such, these codes will generally be for collection completionists.

Cats vs. Dogs

As part of a promotion to boost local gaming stores, each week a code to redeem for special cosmetic sleeves featuring cats and dogs are issued to players when you purchase or play in-store. Check out the full gallery here.

FNM at Home

Every Friday on MTG Arena, a special free to enter event featuring various formats will be available on MTG Arena for 24 hours. You can then contact your local game store and show that you’ve participated their Friday Night Magic remotely, and they will send you a MTG Arena Promo Pack code that contains two cosmetic items such as card styles, sleeves and avatars. Secret Lair

Secret Lair is a special Magic: The Gathering product that contains special, alternate art versions of existing cards. They are released as limited release “drops” that are available only during a specific time frame. These products also contain a code for MTG Arena, usually for the corresponding themed sleeves or sometimes even card styles such as the Thalia Secret Lair. Twitch Prime

From time to time, MTG Arena will also be participating in loot drops for subscribing to Twitch Prime. Usually, these are for a complete deck with more useful rares and mythics than the usual starter deck. The cards will be added to your collection, and if you already have all four copies of the cards they will either grant you Gems or Vault progress instead. See the past promotions below:

MTG Arena Codes: Ultimate List – Updated September 2021

MTG Arena codes are the best way to get various free booster packs, cards, and of course, some awesome cosmetics.

Sometimes it can be hard to find all the available free MTG Arena codes in one place. That’s why we compiled each one of them here. You’ll find all currently active codes below. Be sure to check back daily for new MTG Arena promo codes!

How to Redeem MTG Arena Codes

Redeeming MTG Arena codes is simple. Follow these steps to redeem codes:

How to Redeem MTG Arena Codes on Mobile

On the mobile version on MTG Arena, the process is a bit different. You won’t be able to enter the code directly in the app, instead you’ll have to go to the myaccounts.wizards.com website. Then follow these steps:

MTG Arena Pack Codes

Since MTG Arena went into the Open Beta, each edition had a special promo code. These MTGA codes grant a player three packs of the respective set. You can find all of them in a table below. Hopefully, you’ll get just the card you wanted in your free packs.

* These codes were supposed to expire on July 1st, 2020. However, they still worked on August 17th, 2021. So give them a try if you didn’t use them yet.

** The code will be available once the Midnight Hunt releases. You can find Mindnight Hunt release time here.

Experience Codes

As you might know, you get experience points from quests and from your weekly wins. (Experience points progress your mastery level.) You can also get them by using the MTGA code below. Currently, there are two XP codes available.

Pimp Your Deck with Free Cosmetics

Card Styles

There are no foil cards on MTG Arena, however you can still bling your decks with cosmetics or skins for cards. These are cards with an extended or alternate art (or sometimes both).

Card Sleeves

You can also unlock sleeves for each of the Strixhaven Houses, using the codes below. You can find artworks for Strixhaven sleeves here.

Multi Codes

Sometimes we get codes that reward various free items. While this doesn’t happen very often, it’s that more important to redeem these codes before they expire. Currently, there’s no such code available, but here’s an example of what we got from the last one:

MTG Arena Codes from Paper Products

Some MTG products also come with a code which you can redeem on Arena. However, be careful as not all products have MTG Arena redeem codes. The following types of products usually include a code:

Let’s take a look at each type of product to see exactly which ones contain a code. Keep in mind that these codes are unique. Therefore, you can only redeem them once, and we cannot provide them here.

Planeswalker Decks

These are great for new players just learning the game. Cards are simple, yet interesting enough.

Each Planeswalker Deck contains:

Not all Planeswalker Decks come with a code. Older decks (before Guilds of Ravnica), don’t have one. All decks that have an Arena code are listed here:

They are beginner-friendly. While they are weaker in power level, they are balanced to play against each other. That’s why you might want to get a whole bundle of five – and use them for a game night with your friends.

MTG Arena Prerelease Codes

Prerelease is a tabletop MTG tournament, where you get the first chance to play with cards in paper. Why should an Arena player care about those? Well, they’re the most fun MTG events, for sure. Besides that, you’ll also get a unique MTGA code!

So what does this code give you? Well, it depends on which set it’s from.

Guilds of Ravnica code gave you a free Sealed, while Ravnica Allegiance provided a Draft Token. Newer prerelease kits give you 6 packs of the respective set.

A code from a certain prerelease can only be used once. That means if you have been to two Forgotten Realms prereleases, you can only use one of the MTG Arena promo codes.

If you decide to play at the prerelease, contact your local game store. The dates below should give you some info on when to expect the upcoming tournaments – but the exact date may vary from store to store.

Prerelease Kits from War of the Spark onward contain a code for 6 Packs from the respective set. Your Midnight Hunt prerelease kit will also have one.

If you don’t like to play in real-life events but would still like to get a code and some paper cards, you can buy a Prerelease Kit online. Just be careful – don’t get a Kit before Guilds of Ravnica – there is no code in older ones.

Starter Kits

Planeswalker Decks aren’t the only beginner-friendly products that come with the Arena code. The same is true for the following Starter Kits.

With these Starter Kits, it’s usually the best option to go for the new one, since the codes from the older ones might’ve expired already. The latest Arena Starter Kit has two decks, and a code that’s redeemable twice. As such, it’s a great buy if you have a friend to share it with. Secret Lair Arena Codes

You might have encountered opponents with cool-looking sleeves, that weren’t available in Arena Store. In that case, they might’ve bought the Secret Lair. That’s a special Magic the Gathering product, which is distributed in so-called Drops.

Each Drop features strong cards from Magic’s past with alternate (usually pretty crazy) art style, focused on a specific theme. Most of them also contain a code, which you can redeem for Arena sleeves – with the same art as the specific card from the Drop.

For example, here’s a sleeve you could get from the Secret Lair: Year of the Rat.

Secret Lairs are only available on Wizards’ Store for 24 hours after release, so you can easily miss them. Nevertheless, there is a way to get the sleeve for Arena.

Buying Arena Codes

Of course, you can just buy the code you want. Apart from occasional Deals in Arena Store, that’s the only way of getting some particular sleeves.

Don’t just buy the code from anyone, so you won’t get scammed. Someone could send you a code, and you wouldn’t know if it’s been used or not, until you tried it out. That’s why we’d recommend buying codes from trusted sources.

Our favorite ones are Gray Viking Games. They offer a wide selection of Arena codes, including Secret Lair, which can be (as we said before) pretty hard to get otherwise.

Not only can you get Secret Lair, but they also have codes from FNM@Home, Planeswalker Decks, Prerelease Packs, etc. So if you’re looking for some specific sleeves, go check them out.

MTG Arena Codes for Decks

Sometimes you might even get a full deck for free with a MTGA code. Currently, there are no such codes available, as the GameKnights promo code expired on June 28th.

Twitch Prime Promo Code

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can sometimes get a code that redeems for a 60-card deck. In the past, you could sign up to get a Liliana’s Legion deck. This promotion started on December 3, 2019, but is now expired. Any duplicates you get from this kind of codes count towards your Vault.

Sadly, there was no Twitch Prime promo code in 2020, but who knows – we might get one before 2021 ends. If the new promotion comes, we will update the article with new info.
